>Joker (Persona 5) - Already released >Erdrick (Dragon Quest III) - Announced at the start of E3, has a male and female variation, released right after the presentation >Banjo & Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie) - Announced at the end of E3, released right after the presentation >Leon Kennedy (Resident Evil 2) - Announced on the September 10 Nintendo Direct. He has a palette swap of Jill Valentine, scheduled to release in October >Lloyd Irving (Tales Of Symphonia) - Announced at The 2019 Game Awards, scheduled to release in February 2020.

I feel like any leak that lists Joker is fake. I'm not being silly when I state that, no real leak lists new characters that have already been revealed.
Fire Emblem Fates - 2015 Corrin gets in as a DLC fighter in sm4sh besides being already too late to get in sm4sh DLC. Xenoblade 2 - 2017 Rex is too late to get into smash ultimate, so he is a DLC mii costume instead. Metroid Prime Hunters - 2006 Sylux can get in because he is from a game that is 11 years older than Xenoblade 2 and he can promote Metroid Prime 4 early without any problems at all.
It took Ridley 20 years. Good luck, ugly bionicle man.

Travis - Out there choice, but I'm hoping Sakurai lets him in since he and Suda seem very buddy buddy
Madason - He makes more sense than Erdrick in my opinion, given he has more moveset potential; he's also getting an upcoming movie
Ryu Hayabusa - Tecmo rep needs to be in this game
Geralt - Another far off choice but he seems to be the only Western character that's getting some decent love by the japs; and I'm thinking since the western games that best sell well in japan are RPG and Geralt is not as much of a blankstate as characters from stuff like Elder Scrolls, he's the highest chance to be a WRPG rep
As long as Ryu has his original NES costume and alternate Ninja Gaiden Black version, I don't mind.

Not really since Trevor isn't as popular as Simon or Richter and even then Sakurai considered Alucard before deciding to go with them because of the Whip (And even then they went with both since they couldn't decide on a single character), Madason is a pretty popular character from Dragon Quest so he isn't too far-off; Erdrick you have to consider that he's not a single character but rather three, four if you count Dai from the manga/anime.
And did Travis really get deconfirmed? Suda is often known for being a liar with pants on fire
