The story is fucking fnatastic. I remember how intense the first Cipher hideout is. The mountian at the end is so adventurous. The locations are great like seaport, and the revisted from colusseum places.

That abttle mountain with 100 trainers is some of the kost fun ive ever had.

Its cool seeing shadow pokemon and snagging them.

I'm playing it now, I'm in the Cipher Key Layer. There are a metric fuckton of changes, including a bunch of new shadow moves like spread move taunt, Spiky Shield with infinite PP, and hypnosis-accurate freeze; New shadow pokemon, such as Treeko, Bagon, Pelipper, and Pikachu; aaltered pokemon abilities, such as Speed Boost Torchic, Bulletproof Lapras, and Inner Focus Treeko; and the ability to catch Bonsly, among other things. It's worth a play, but you kind of have to use actual doubles strats.

It's a crime that Shadow Lugia doesn't keep his cool look after being purified.

I loved it as a kid but I hated how you couldn't purify and transfer lugia even though in colosseum you could get ho oh. I might not like it if I played it again though

You say that like it's a bad thing

I hated double battles. This game (and Colosseum) made me realize I only hate competetive doubles. A main game in doubles format is vastly superior because you level up faster, can more easily carry a lower level pokemon up, and you get a better feeling of your pokemon working together.

All new games should have an option: prefer double battles, which makes all battles against those with 2+ pokemon double battles.
