nier automata is closest thing to perfect game
Nier automata is closest thing to perfect game
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
combat was not deep
plot was deep if you've never experienced other media
visuals were good
music was nice
What was his fucking problem?
routes A and B should have been combined somehow so that you played as either at certain times and learned all you need to know for the final act. Or just make 9s the only playable character until you unlock A2, without sacrificing combat while also keeping hacking (though hacking needs to be improved since it's extremely easy until the very end).
Aside from visuals and music, it's pretty lacking on other regards; especially in respect to the original NieR.
Sekiro wants a word with you
>plot was deep if you've never experienced other media
about the size of it.
It was the most boring Platinum game I've ever played. They need setpieces. They don't work with open world. Even the first Nier was a better, more cohesive experience
>btfos xenofags and personafags
Nope, not one bit.
>visuals are good
You fucking serious?
>imfuckingplying
this, the gameplay itself isn't good enough to keep me immersed for the plot to get going. It would be generous to call the combat mediocre, even.
I agree.
R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2 R2. We now need you to go to the other side of the map.
One of the best game of the decade but really far from perfect desu.
it is overrated western garbage
>routes A and B should have been combined somehow
I think the idea was that you were supposed to get a different perspective on different elements on the story. And it would have changed the story's meaning and make it feel like it's something different even though you were doing pretty much the same thing. They do it a little bit, but not a lot. They probably ran out of time and money. I wish they would have pulled it off better.
At least you can do the side missions you missed in route A but still it's a chore desu.
Forgotten completely since release besides Taro screaming, crying and begging for best videogame soundtrack
>spam dodge infinitely with no penalty
gReAtEsT gAmE
It's still selling way more than expected.
2b dies lol
It took 3 years of on-and-off play, but I finally got all 26 endings. I really enjoyed my time with it.
According to steam, less than 1/5 of players have seen the final credits and that makes me sad.
Is Nier worth playing?
the gameplay is absolute garbage so nah
yeah if you have a xbox or ps3. its not as good gameplay wise as automata but its worth it
