I honestly can't wait. It's a game where it's difficult just to walk from point A to point B, and it's designed around repercussions to failure beyond just getting a game over and reloading. Everything about this is pure gameplay, and yet your brains have rotted to the point where anytime you see someone walking you screech walking simulator, because you've forgotten why "walking simulators" were bad in the first place. They were called that because there is no failure state. You can't lose anything, therefore they can hardly be called games, therefore they are actually "walking simulators". This isn't Gone Home, you aren't rummaging through drawers for letters about your dyke sister's rebellious phase. You're traversing the elements trying to help people survive in a world plagued by nightmarish monsters, and every time you screw up the game just gets harder. I know this is a pointless rant and you'll assume it's copypasta, but it's seriously turning into the fucking monkeys and the hose experiment around here. Go ahead and ignore the game itself so you can whine about the latest movie Kojima tweeted about or some shit.

Same thing dude. Its the only game I can truly say I am excited about. It really sounds like Kojima is giving it his all. He makes a game about being a delivery boy sound fantastic. I love the idea about craters too.

Kojima makes it sound like the craters will destroy whatever you were near, so while there won't be a game over, you will get punished for dying all the time.

Most people are brainless and ignorant, some of them just shitpost because they cant form their own opinion, others just shit on everything to vent. And then there really are people who dont understand anything. Death Stranding looks very interesting and fresh and I cant wait.

I have a feeling that it will be lambasted by the people who usually adore movie games. They might love "cinematic experiences", but I don't think they have enough attention span to watch Norman Reedus carrying packages for hours

Its a fucking third person shooter with stealth mechanics, its not just Norman Reedus carrying packages for hours. There is much more to the world, the ghosts, skeleton army, lovecraftian monsters, timefall rain.

Look user, the game is in third person and there is a gun. Kojima said its an action game and it can be played as a shooter similiar to The Divison and The Uncharted, but stealth will be more rewarding. Just like most of his games.

I bet most of the money and time were spent to create those scenarios. I dig the icelandic landscape.

Even if this was just a straight up delivery boy game, the environments and movement alone would be enough to have me interested.

I'm excited to see how the WW2 shit, Mads and the skellies tie into it.
