I am though. Well, I was. Now I play corporate clash because I like the new features it's adding. Rewritten is a significantly more vanilla experience which is fine, but I was maxed out on the original server, I like some new stuff.
Too bad CC isn't stable. If TTR got one thing right, its stability
There's nothing to do. It's been almost 10 years and the TTR team STILL hasn't added in any new significant content.
My god, TTR has almost been around for as long as the original toontown.
>tfw there are people that unironically refer to characters as toons outside of Toontown
TTR is obsessed with being a vanilla server, of course they haven't added a damn thing.
who actually plays this? just let it die. I remember playing the original when it came out, this could not have aged well
I did so that I could reach a max Toon that I've wanted to reach since the original (never really got membership so I didn't get as far as I wanted)
Hit 120 and realized how much of a god damn chore it was to hit 137, oh well, I had fun hitting 120 regardless.
Genuine question; what new stuff does Corporate Clash have versus Rewritten?
>TTR is obsessed with being a vanilla server
Yet they've added in entirely new species to play as, and adding in dumb events like ToonFest and Crash Cashbot.
The TTR team is just lazy, they've been teasing that executive office tower shit for almost 4 god damn years now.

>several new toon species
>leveling system, and you can even choose different starting gags iirc
>new harder cog type, executive cogs
>suit parts now obtained from facilities instead of tasks
>zap gag track that uses shit like joybuzzers and gets a damage bonus with squirt gags. gag lines all have an extra gag now too
>several remodels/retextures
>balance changes, lure got slight nerfs, etc.
If the strat for endgame is still to spam sound at everything in alternating foghorn and elephant truck intervals, then what's the point?
I haven't played it in a while, but I thought that they nerfed sound like almost every toontown server does?
Doesn't really matter since sound is still the most effective way of dealing with multiple cogs quickly.
>not going toonupless
>not going soundless
>field offices
>executive office tower
>new playground
all of this shit was promised years ago, and yet they decided to add Silly Meter and Crash Cashbot instead
>look at recommended specs
>recommends quad-core
what the actual fuck?
I have a feeling that most of the TTR team(the ones with the actual skills) actually left years ago and all that remains is a skeleton crew which is why we get fucking garbage like the silly meter and crash cashbot instead of the stuff people have actually been wanting and asking for.
...or maybe the devs are just lazy.
I did when it first fucking came out, I played with Yea Forums and /TTG/. It was fun and I maxed out everything.
>do a 5 story building with some randoms
>it’s a really tough building
>one of them is training low level gags
>tell them to stop because we’ll die
>”it’s just a kids game user. Don’t take it so seriously!”
he's right though
this existed? fuck, that sounds so cozy
that would be true for TTO, but I imagine TTR has more veteran players than children discovering it for the first time
