I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt after years of fixing their mistakes, but its extremely unpolished and annoying to play.

OP here. All I'm saying is that No Man's Sky has actually tried to fix itself and is probably one of the least kike'd games (currently it is anyway) because it doesn't have paid-DLC nor microtransactions.
It isn't perfect and I rather have Noctis V (RIP) but it's pretty good for what is and especially good compared to what it used to be.
