You can up the resolution and it looks so much better than the 3DS and even Wii.
I played this back in 2014 on my 2012 i5 Macbook and it ran smooth at 1.5x resolution.

I don't know why you would want to an RPG of this size on the damn 3ds, and Dolphin is pretty good these days so go for that (or get a wii u or something)

As someone who owns the 3DS version, go dolphin. Pixelation is so bad that everything looks like a plate of oatmeal.

My first time playing Xenoblade was on the N3DS version and i greatly enjoyed it.
Looked good enough for a handheld in my opinion.
Don't know why but it being on handheld made the scale of everything even more impressive.

wii emulation is pretty much perfect and i have the shittiest of PCs
just remember to use ubershaders (download any of the latest development builds of dolphin and check options) and youll be good

I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and I don't think it's so bad as people claim. Sure it's not pretty but it runs surprisingly well for how big the game is for the 3DS.

3ds if you've already played it before. dolphin/an actual wii if you havent. The 3ds port is the worst way to experience xenoblade the first time, the muted colors and the shit draw distance destroy what was once a marvel of wii architecture

this is just how bad it looks on 3DS compared to stock Wii resolution
if you have a hacked new 3DS, you can rank up your play coins and get all the models and music from the gacha game built into it, its nice to see them but that's just about it, the 240p resolution kills the game IMO even for a portable experience
