What do you do with old gear in dauntless?
You craft new shit every time you're back in town but have yet to see a place to sell old gear back or disassemble it.

Alright Im genuinly curious why the fuck is Dauntless getting so popular? Que times are ridiculous and Im seeing an assload of players everywhere at the entrance. Once inside to get a party it takes less than 30 seconds. Was it the crossplatform play? It seems like Epic dumped a ton of money into this as well, Im getting fortnite vibes everywhere.

Id love to actually play the game, but everytime I beat the tutorial beaver I wait at a loadscreen for 10 minutes, disconnect, and have to repeat the opening cutscene and tutorial. Hopefully 4th time's the charm.

people are tired of doing the same shit over and over in MHW and it's free.

They officially released it, so they are paying a bunch of streamers and youtubers, thus garnering attention and bringing in players, plus the Epic deal, crossplay and f2p
Last time i played you couldn't disassemble old gear. Ramsgate is not a good hub, you only go there to craft armor/items and pick missions, there's not even a training ground there

Literally made 5 heroic runs with pugs in like 25 minutes total, on lower levels learn to handle behemots solo.

Been waiting in matchmaking queue for about an hour. Disconnecting me over and over again. 90% of my playtime has been staring at a loading screen. PS4 btw

You just get Orbs by hunting any Behemoth of the corresponding element, right? Is it just stronger behemoths = more orbs?

Why can't you see the monster's health bar? Why would they remove that?

Day 1: Playing the game, slaying behemoths, upgrading my repeaters, having fun

20 Hours Later: Matchmaking for 20 minutes, fight behemoth for 5 minutes, wait 20 minutes to get back into town, error; back to main menu, repeat unless it crashes which it probably will.

Well, it was fun while it lasted...

Today I had absolutely no troubles with the queues. I get in the matchmaking in less than 2 minutes, mostly with PS players.
What annoys me more is that people seem to spam the skaevnwhatever in frost patrol or maybe I'm just unlucky

New player here, are there any must-have armor sets? Could I just be lazy and wear my Gnasher set to endgame?

You could probably just upgrade gnasher all the way if you wanted, but you'd be un-optimized.

You do the same fucking shit in dauntless, except now theres even less to do and most of it is locked behind a battlepass.

Men, dauntless is literaly the only game i can think of that will do much better on egs than on steam.

you mean to get in the game or to find a hunt?
cause i get in instantly i didn't even know there were queues.
To find a hunt it takes around 1 minute, but you can do it alone if you click "private hunt"
Also every armor or weapons is relevant cause they have different stats but the same power / defense
So you choose your equipment based on what kind of build you want or what kind of hunt you're doing

Im unsure when this part was skimmed over. But yes the log in times were really bad yesterday all night.

im pretty sure shock patrols and hunts are bugged, it doesn't even look for players it just instantly gets stuck looking for servers while other hunts look for players first and the servers after

I've done Nayzaga and Lesser Drask pursuits with no issue, have not tried Stormclaw or Shock Patrols.

Looks like they fixed the problem by just letting you stay in the same lobby per hunt. Gee, who knew?

So whats the deal with the pistols? Tried them and they don't seem.... good at all. Is it just a meme and should stay with my longsword?
