Just play it safe and stock up on Ragtimes for breakage and eviscerate them. And if my recollection serves me, the only time this is necessary is a brief instance in Mission 8.

As for V, he's also manageable. I found the burden of S ranking with him lessened dramatically after I remapped Griffon to a shoulder button. Also, keep enemies off screen at all times while you are reading and have Griffon and Shadow act autonomously when needed for effortless SSS.

I unironically believe S ranking V in HaH is easier than DMD, so you should be good to go so long as you have the fundamentals.

Only bad thing about V is his first boss. In other playthroughs he's so easy you don't have to learn his tells, but he's actually got a couple of tells for his varying jukes he can do. Aside from that V is very easy. Don't use Faust you pussy
