Game Freak are excessively incompetent, they could barely code for the original Game Boy, they couldn't get PS1-tier graphics on 3DS to have a stable framerate.

They have over 400 models for everything in Sun and Moon, all exactly the same, but the game loads up specific ones based on area and cutscne

Alright, so example. Instead of just 1 or 2 Lillie models, they have 400 seperate fucking models that all look exactly the same, all with preprogrammed animations or whatever, and the has to search thru all 400 to find the one it needs with the animations programmed it needs. So instead of one or two models with various animations programmed in, they do the dumbest one possible that helps the game run like shit.

No, it's real. The game also has *everything* encrypted in a way that every time you open the menu for example, it has to look thru, decrypt it, and then encrypt it again when the menu is closed
