it's not about replacing MP with TP according to Yoshida. It's about removing TP since its a outdated mechanic and replacing it with job gauges which is the new mechanic.

On the one hand I did the work of farming the seals for every riding map so I'm not okay with them being a reward for this.

On the other, at 30 needed per map and a paltry 3 from fucking raids with everything else giving even less that just doing hunts would be faster.

Everyone has 1000tp, and overpower uses 120.
So all they have to do is make the mp consumption 12% of your mp, same with every other skill.
The change will probably be a bit more complicated for classes like bards which is a physical class that actually uses mp, but most of them don't use their mp at all making this a simple conversion for those that don't.

The idea is to change the skills so they do what they did before but without TP. You aren't going to have a skill that just does nothing now.

Squadrons are good up to level 50. POTD is only good up to level 60. Also the post mentions Shadowbringers dungeons, so people level 71 and higher.

If you ever click abilities with your mouse, you are a bad player. The mouse button should always be pressed down for constantly moving the camera to maximize raid awareness. Moving the mouse over to your buttons means you attention is not where it should be, not to mention how much slower it is.

i'm not saying 1-2-3 takes much skill but it lets your fingers travel more and makes you feel like you're doing more than just hitting one button and being more active, you have more control over what you're doing, and you can instinctively tell where you are at in your combo. this isn't an intimate single player game this is a tab target mmo with a ton of flashing lights and animation cancelling it's a lot harder to get a feel of what your character is even doing.
The minute you make 1-1-1 a thing you might as well have the 1 button a single attack that does the same potency all the time so there's no difference no matter where you are in rotation and have the rest of your skills as ogcds, i really don't see the point.

If you're a tank or healer there's no reason to keybind your LB. But that's pretty much the only combat-related thing you should ever need to click, and if you're a DPS then you definitely should keybind it

Do you literally not have hands? When your little finger is on Shift, your middle finger should naturally be on the numbers. You should use Shift+F1-F4 too. The goal is to not have to move your hand much if at all, though if you are a sissy boy with small hands you might not reach the furthest keys like F4, 5, T and G comfortably while holding Shift. The others should be easy.
