Only time I teared up at vidya that I can remember is Undertale's secret conversation with Asriel if you go all the way back to the start of the game during the epilogue.
Literally every single bad thing that happened in the entire game, all of it happened specifically to this completely innocent child whose entire fucking life was destroyed beyond saving, he's the only one that doesn't get a happy ending, and you're the only one that even knows he still exists. And he's not even mad.

Most recently, the ending to Kingdom Hearts 3. Seeing all these characters except Sora/Kairi get a happy ending was pretty heartbreaking. I think if I didn't grow up playing the games, that ending wouldn't have had much of an impact on me.
Too bad the secret endings ruined the main ending.
