Bump. Stop playing Atelier Lulua and start getting excited for the next one, it's been two whole days since it released after all.
Holy shit. It's here. I'm absolutely hyped. I can't tell much, but it looks like an adventurer type of gig.
>big titted shortstack MC
d r o p p e d
also is it me or does the song sounds way too much like a totori song
Wonder if they'll use this as an opportunity to reinvent a little
Who am I kidding
If it's the start of a new trilogy, it's likely since they always change some things up. If it's Arland 5, I dunno.
She's got thick thighs too. I don't know, but I like it. It's interesting how they open up with a 3D animation that is probably not even battle gameplay when it usually is like for Atelier. It's a more in the vein of Blue Reflection kind of thing. Don't Atelier trailers always get an animated sequence? Not sure if it's just me or the animation feels smoother when she turns and the way she interacts with the wind.
UGUU ANIME KAWAII FANSEEVISU
fucking puke
Looks like a BOTW type game
Pass.
Does this mean they changed their light engine?
>Don't Atelier trailers always get an animated sequence?
Atelier Meruru used 3D models, though it's an odd one out.
Well if you wanted to see something ugly, you can always just look in the mirror
I just can't help but feel it'll be Arland 5. It even has the same adventure motif as Totori.
In reality it's probably an attempt to do Firis but better this time around though
But isn't Lulua just Firis but better? Although it's only been two days, so I don't know exactly.
That tower on the left, is it in the style of the Machina ruins from Arland? I can't really tell.
The more I think about this, the more I wonder. What if they just go full on ARPG?
Hm. I want to fuck the girl
I don't understand the anatomy of the guy on the left.
Can we get someting that's not Atelier? Please?
I guess this means Mel Kishida is out. Is Hidari back in?
>has a potion as an accessory on her side like the rest of the Ateliers
I think that's a no.
This might or might not be Atelier, but it's not like GUST is entirely afraid of side projects. They made both Nights of Azure and Blue Reflection while burning internally because the Mysterious games were flopping
Aw, but my Lulua Limited Edition hasn't even shown up yet.
Have a blurry shot from the front.
>dual wielding a pickax and a sword
Wonder what this is going to be about.
Is it possible to be Arland 5? The models look really different, so if it was they would have to remake all the potential characters from Lulua.
I know she's going to be hot already.
I don't think the models look that different, but most of all I don't think what we can see of the character designs so far looks much like Kishida's usual work. I'm leaning more towards new trilogy.
I hope you're correct. I am pretty tired of Arland.
Looks like she has firis and judie beat for the title of ugliest female atelier protag
Rude.
Is that fucking Hayato Asano doing the music? My wallet is ready.
based moebuta
who's the cutest atelier protag in your opinion?
>tfw the more you look at this image the more you notice how lewd it is
shallistera
Why do you say that? Is there something particular about it?
dem thighs
Is there any Gust game that isn't kusoge?
Almost all of them aren't with the exception of the first Rorona.
He makes music that gives a flying, airy feel, as opposed to the other Gust composers who make music with an earthy, hearty feel.
At least, that's the synesthesia I get when I listen to Gust music while I'm on acid.
Seems to have decently-sized tits.
Please be something interesting and not yet another soulless Atelier
Atelier is as soulful as it gets.
That’s got to be the biggest of all the characters so far which makes you question the artist this time around.
>Atelier Sale was only for two days
What the fuck KT?
Please no turn based combat this time
It is honestly looking to be this way which isn’t very good or comfy and slow paced like the previous Atelier, but maybe that’s what will sell to the masses.
what indicates it won't be turn-based? I have a feeling it will be.
Just comparing the Meruru and Lulua games to this how this one looks. The motion is completely different. The character blends into the environment. It feels crisp and clean unlike how choppy the previous games were.
How often do you guys actually play Atelier Arland in portable conditions? PC just feels maximum comfy. I’m conflicted.
I played all of Arland in handheld mode on Switch, to me nothing could have been comfier.
Where did you play? On your bed? In your chair? In the kitchen? Atelier feels like a game of serious commitment to time as opposed to quick minutes of something which is why I ask.
Lying on bed or on a sofa is far comfier than using a shitty car chair repurposed for home, especially at late night when you just play until your eyes close naturally
Handheld Atelier is the epitome of /comfy/
On my sofa and yes, I would sometimes play over five hours straight.
>Atelier feels like a game of serious commitment to time
Not him, but maybe I'm too used to handheld gaming, I can get through stupidly long games in daily 2/3 hour long sessions that last for entire weeks, including VNs
Atelier games in specific are neatly split between gameplay segments with short term goals and events that act as their own small little stories, the loop in general is actually pretty fit for short bursts of progress
It's a japanese game, it's purposedly designed that way for the wagie drone lifestyle most of the people that buy these games are stuck in
>nu-Gust
>making anything good
epic lul
Yeah, I haven’t done much handheld gaming since the DS and Gameboy. I must be too used to PC gaming. I do have a comfier chair after years of a subpar one that last fifteen plus years. Entire weeks of the same game though, that’s overwhelming. I must be too used to rushing to finish too. You’re right though, it does have that loop. Although, getting it on a portable would also restrict all extras to that console. Maybe it’s the way after all anyways.
Yes and please
>Entire weeks of the same game though, that’s overwhelming
It's in short bursts and gives your daily routine a good dose of escapism. It's actually pretty comfortable I feel pretty sad once I'm done with a game, especially an Atelier one, knowing I'll have to wait another year to repeat the small cycle once again.
Nah. Lulua lacks the open world aspect of Firis.
A new open world game set in Arland as an adventurer could be really fun. They just need to learn from the mistakes they made in Firis.
how's lulua? I haven't played one since ayesha but I was thinking of picking it up cuz I don't use my switch for anything and it's been a while. I pirated sophie for vita but it was lame.
I'm enjoying it. But that is probably because I really like the Arland setting. Especially now since they are giving the region some backstory and lore.
I hope it's great. I used to love Gust's games.
>not flat
Yeah go fuck yourselves Gust.
>no Mana khemia 3
>no Ar Tonelico 4
>same yuri bait
I sleep
Like they did with Nights of Azure?
all the characters of what? Gust characters? Hell no, son
I just hope it's not another c/u/ck shit.
guessing he meant the main atelier girls
firis and sharthot have decently sized tiddies too though
Looks like Blu Reflection 2 at the start, why you gotta fuck with us like that?
Nigga, you can shit on her game all you want, but you are not to hate on her design. Firis is one of the cutest Ateliers in the franchise.
I'm interested but I'm not going to believe for a second this will be of any better quality than the latest Atelier or Blue Reflection. They literally can't take the time or resources to make a decent game or update their engine with the constant Atelier shit they have to pump out yearly.
Quick, user, tell me what city you live in so I can find a local burn center for you Definitely either an ugly faggot or 500 lb landwhale """womyn"""
I hope it has cute gay girls
It better be uncensored on PC since I am assuming it won't be on the Switch.
What problems had Firis? I didn't play the game so I don't know.
Only Spike Chunsoft are Snoy cocksuckers that censor on Switch for no reason.
Blue Reflection got censored for western release on all platforms.
The main problem for me was the lack of party members interacting with each other. Due to it's open world nature, most of the event scenes are done withing the atelier. And the party members only really have one on one events with Firis. The areas are also almost completely flat and don't have anything worth exploring past getting materials for crafting. Lot's of areas feel samey with reused assets.
Overall I enjoyed the game but it's obvious that this was Gust's first attempt at an open world style.
If Arland 5 is the next game I really hope for a fully interconnected Arland reaching from Arkys all the way to the new continent. Sadly though the chances of that happening are almost zero.
I want to believe if it's not Arland 5 because I don't want them to fuck up the trilogy anymore, but they already said they are going to make it.
When did they say that?
>new trilogy
>looks like some Xenoblade ripoff
No thanks.
The last soulful Atelier was Ayesha
They also said we'd see more of Blue Reflection
