If you liked first VC game, I'd definitely recommend this. If the number was removed from the title, you could totally trick people into thinking that this is the actual second game in the series. I mean that in both good and bad, some things have definitely improved, but not really enough to seriously impress you.

Uninstalling the game usually doesn't touch its config files. And they are usually kept in some %appdata% folders, My Documents, and such.

I beat the campaign and most of the DLC... I still have to get through these skirmishes that's included with the game + the DLC ones... Also I still haven't finished the last few post-game soldier stories.
Got the switch version. It's annoying how the Valkyria's glows slow the game down to such a crawl.

Very good game overall, so many improvements from the first game. What I'd love though would be the ability to freely choose which soldiers you'd like to bring into battle, rather than always having to bring the usual Raz, Riley, blah blah without getting punished for it... Because there's so many good soldiers and the biggest appeal of these games for me are the units themselves and how you're able to choose which to bring into battle with you.

i really REALLY VC1 until the over the top shonen magic crap started happening, had it start with it maybe i could take it but it just feels just meh.

At the end of the game, I felt that the entire Federation needed a redemption arc. They just lost 4 million out of the 6 million total deaths of the war. And no the allies weren't outsmarted or out gunned, you would know if you played VC1's Selvaria and Empire DLC. They were just written to lose. Same with our guy Claude. He got an honorable discharge off screen. Riley ending up on a wheel chair is a small price for all the friendlies that died in the game. Our main characters aside from Minerva and her driver deserved worse. Especially for failing the mission. Just push the fucking button Claude the city's already mostly evacuated by the time they decided to dwell on it. The little girl might be experiencing a worse fate post-game since we don't know how she ends up.

Also, aside from Selvaria, Christel was probably the best scout in all of VC. Her version of Sighting straight up gives her more AP, and she's got Double Movement.

And yeah I agree about the redemption arc. She just ends up with her driver friend and he's old like Ryan and Keigel. Wasted.

Either try to blast the tank with mortars with enhanced attack and ignore defense command and take out the Valkirye with a sniper and a good shocktrooper or try to seperate them and have a shocktrooper fire at the weakpoint of the tank (this only works when the trooper has the buffs that let him ignore the defense of the tank and with more attack against tanks).
