What are some other multiplayer games that don't get the attention they deserve and more people should be playing?
Alternatively what are some other multiplayer games that provide a great sense of scale?
Planetside 2

Let me guess, you started playing after 2015.
I started playing in beta and quit when it died a year or two later. Started playing again since the dx11 update. Fixed my biggest gripe but there are plenty of bugs. Still a great game in spite of technical flaws.
Then you should know why the game deserves nothing but sweet release of death.
PlanetSide 2 is still my favorite game and I've been playing since 2013.
>Started playing again since the dx11 update. Fixed my biggest gripe but there are plenty of bugs.
Shill
The update fixed nothing
update fixed a lot of shit. now lets talk gameplay.
NC has best weapons
No it definitely fixed my biggest gripe and that was the framerate.
If I were here to shill I'd probably be talking about their upcoming game not this 7 year old dinosaur.
i miss the asians, connerybros
>why doesn't this p2w get attention?
Unironically this.
I got the medic NS rifle on the anniversary some years ago and it's way better than any of my vanu crap : the accuracy is amazing, almost no bullet drop, good damages.
i started in 2013 and i believe the same
Stopped playing this back in like 2014, what've I missed?
It hasn't been p2w in ages.
Game would be fun if it wasn't battle for the crown all day and zerg rushing
Put some god damn emphasis on the nearby tiles, like let a squad stay behind to power some cell to give some other neighboring tile the energy needed to fire a powerful artillery canon
i miss him bros
we all know how it went
retard
>rts genre so dead that if you incorporate it into your fps it kills your game
Fun game but demands too much of its players to be mainstream successful.
I still run into those VS Koreans from time to time
What makes PS2 so special? I played it and it never clicked for me even though I adore large scale FPS battles. Why couldn't halo just incorporate 1000+ player maps?
I hate the Korean lagwizards
>Stream tomorrow that has something to do with the Original Planetside
MECHS ARE BACK BABY
PS2 map is large enough for multiple thing to be going on at once. You could have a 96+/96+ battle in one area, footzergs in others, and tank columns coming up another corner of the map. In games like Battlefield you're stuck in that one fight. In PS2 you pick your fights or make your own.
Titanfall 2 doesn't get the attention it deserves on pc
It doesnt deserve attension. All it needed to be was PS1 but with on a real engine and with netcode. Instead it was ridiculously casualized and almost every major change in the game was to make it more like PS1
The problem with this that I experienced way back in beta was a good percentage of your playtime was trying to make those good fights happen.
Sometimes you're outnumbered, sometimes you're the superior force, sometimes their air superiority destroys you and sometimes their AA means you cant get shit in the air.
But then there's those times where things just line up, your boys seem focused on an objective and so is the enemy and you manage to duke it out in a back and forth and still come out on top. Had some really great moments, but they were too far between to hold me and i didn't really play after beta.
I think it's that there's a lot of openness to what a players role can be and that was how I goaded my friends into playing it with me hardcore for like a month. The ones who sucked shit at shooting medic'd or engie'd, one of us flew, another was a tank specialist, I just shot a lot and another friend fucked off and did infiltrator stuff. I miss it.
It's not p2w. All the weapons are sidegrades
Camo is money only though
that sweet NC scum theme music
youtu.be
I'm a TR man but I listen to this on the regular
It's called base building and you can build a orbital cannon uplink which can wipe out a whole zerg if you're lucky (or unlucky)
We're back, baby
>attension
>tripfag
>needed a high end PC for it to not run like absolute ass in larger fights
Wonder how it would have done if it released a few years later.
Ace of Spades deserved better
So did quake champions, better devs at least.
The game was dead by 2014, poor management, p2w grind, and poor optimisation killed it. Was my favourite game though
