I can say its probably the best designed 3d dungeon.
Ganondorf was worshiped in Ikana
It actually looks a bit like this dude. Ikana has the strangest wall textures.
What was wrong with Dodongo's Cavern?
if Skyward Sword had any redeeming qualities it was the dungeons
Swap Jabu-Jabu and Water Temple and I'd agree
Too many block pushing and just kinda boring with throwing unprecise bombs.
Sky Keep from Skyward Sword
That fucking time dungeon was neato
based
Not that piece of shit, that's for sure.
TP Temple of Time's design is pure genius. You go through the dungeon normally, then get to the end and realize now you have to do the entire thing in reverse while taking a giant metal statue with you. Plus it had great enemies and soundtrack. And the moment when you finally get the staue back to its pedestal and go through the door to the old run down section of the temple is pretty memorable after the entire dungeon up to this point was spotless and "new" looking
I really like Arbiter's Grounds in TP.
>totally linear
>genius
Thanks I hate it
Maybe. Great Bay, Forest and Water temples are the same level.
Cool idea but spotty execution. The lizalfos you fight on the way up are way more fun than the layers upon layers of nothing on the way down.
If you really want to rank them, I just spent 45 min downloading all the dungeons to make a Tier Maker .

Please Reward me by not putting Zelda 1 Dungeon 3 as S Tier
Let me guess, you thought Breath of the Wild was a good game? "Linear bad open good" is one of the dumbest mindsets that gets parroted on this board. TP Temple of Time was pure kino. The entire game was, really. It's a shame we may never get a Zelda that good again now that the fanbase has been infested with open world zoomers.
it took linearity on a creative way
i agree it's genius, or at least one of the best 3d zelda's temples
Based
For me the dungeon at gerudo's desert was fun because of the spinning platform item
the problem of TP is the first 1/3 is really, really slow. i finished the game few times but now it is very hard to get it again. but it had 2 of the best 3d zelda's dungeons: arbiter's ground and temple of time
Arbiter's Grounds
Yeah that one, i forgot it's name for a moment
I thought Snowhead was pretty interesting too, if only for its location. I don't remember much about the City in the Sky other than the gross sound effect when you latched onto Peahats.
The last 4 dungeons are all god tier. The beginning section in Ordon was a mistake. I remember fumbling around with the stupid fishing game on the wii for hours trying to feed that goddamn cat. The first half and second half are really different. They almost feel like they were made by different dev teams or there was a change in leadership. Most of the characters from the first half are kinda just forgotten about in the second half, but the second half has superior dungeon design. It's certainly not without its flaws, but imo it's still the best all around game in the series
It's the only attempt in the game to have parts of the dungeon outside, except for Hyrule Castle (And Snowpeak Ruins if you consider the courtyard outside).
Banjo fans are so annoying, they ruin it for everyone else
Water temple from Twilight Princess, very comfy
The snow mansion is cool, it's the only dungeon I remember to have a "story". You need to take the ingredients to make the soup and go to the bedroom to take the mirror, but nothing inventive on a gameplay wise.
City in the Sky is the dungeon I have more problem in all games of the series until today. For some reason I think this one is really hard.
The water temple in OoT. It's the most memorable by far, and the water level shenanigans are clever.
What the hell is D? The Gerudo training grounds?
Let me refresh your memory
> Using Oocca like a chicken
> Blue blocks that fall into the void when you walk on them
> Double clawshot
> Bridges that you extend with the spinner
> Grates that you can latch onto everywhere
> The big version of those things with the metal plate on them that charge at you
> Boss is a giant dragon thing
Walking on tightropes
I thought it was cool just for the setting. AFAIK nothing similar has been done before or since in the zelda series
Yep
Forest temple was kino as fuck but Ganon's Tower was mostly empty
This.
But I like TP's dungeons overall. I guess the only dungeon I really don't like is Forest Temple.
Palace of Winds?
Breath of the Wild.... oh wait it doesn't have dungeons lmao
That actually helped. Now I remember that the boss dragon would appear from time to time and break bridges and stuff.
TP gets a lot of shit for its slow startup but I feel like it's still a really good Zelda game. Never really got the 'edgy' criticism either.
True, now that you mention it. And ALBW. They replaced Misery Mire with a wind temple. Still though, those were pretty different from city in the sky. They were wind themed but not sky themed
Just thinking about the first 10 hours of the game until I get into the good part makes me not wanting to play it again soon... Just remembered the invisible fuckers
Yep, just simillar setting, but really different dungeons.
God I really got to replay TP.
I've played OoT, MM and WW at least 5+ times each, but I only ever played TP once and I barely remember the dungeons.
The only one I really remember is the mountain snow lodge which was really fun.
City in the Sky was kinda interesting, MC Escher esque, but ultimately kinda boring imo. Awesome boss fight tho, mid-temple item also slapped
Just order Twilight Princess HD for Wii U. Did you guys like the remaster?
>Wii U
lol
I liked the console...
Still the only way to play Wondeful 101 :)
Prob just fans of the ultra-cartoony WW style having a shitfit.
Yeah, I honestly wish they would go back to something closer to Twilight Princess artstyle for the next game
Yes. By far the best version of the game. It has the best aspects of both the Gamecube and Wii versions without the version specific flaws
Gamecube version:
> Only 4:3 resolution
> Can only have 2 items equipped at once
Wii version:
> Forced motion controls
> Can equip 4 items at once but with a weird dpad swap system where you have to move every item to B before using it
> Entire world is mirrored
Wii U version:
> 16:9 resolution
> Equip 3 items like the traditional Ocarina of Time system
> No motion controls
> Can choose between mirrored and non mirrored versions of the game
> Best looking version with improved textures and models
It's a shame the best version is still stuck on the Wii U. I hope it gets a Switch port eventually because the remastered version truly feels like the way the game was meant to be played
I won't lie, the WW graphic style aged a lot better than TP's, but I didn't think TP was as edgy as people make it out to be - its story beats are no more 'dark' than OoT.
Really the only thing that struck me as over the top was the cutscene after the Zora temple where Link makes a weird creepypasta face.
Wii U was great.
