That's the point. At this moment in time I don't even take Smite seriously anymore. I don't even want their new shiny skins. I just play it out of novelty because I had my fun last 3 seasons ago. But nowadays it's all a drag.

Been playing since Oct 2012. Love the game but stopped playing conquest years ago. A nice relaxing game of Arena or Assault once in a while is really fun.

I find the process of getting better very satisfying. Seeing my improvement over time played makes the game more enjoyable, but if you're just playing for "novelty" then I can see why it'd be boring. Progression is pretty negligible so play with a purpose in mind.

Because it's not Paragon. Seriously though, I started playing it recently because I really wanted to play paragon and it's breddy gud. But it really does need more builds diversity. I just feel like paragon had more options.

I will add this game used to have the worst rule enforcement for any online game I've ever played. I went FIVE years on one account being racist every game, quitting near daily, and being a general shitbird 24/7 and they STILL only banned me for 6 months. Ironically, a few hours after giving me a 6 month ban it was extended to a perm. They must have really went back and checked logs.
