The dude making the reunion retranslation mod figured out how to install his mods using a single installer but no one else can figure that out apparently. Everyone just kind of hoping Reunion 6.0 comes out soon with remako bundled in but who the fuck knows.

All PC versions of FF7 are automatically garbage because they run on a Direct3D engine from 1998, retard.

7th heaven is indeed a pain to set up but it's more because FF7 is difficult to mod, 7th heaven does make using multiple mods easier, though the creator has gotten lazy & hasn't updated most it since 2017

Giga pixel is more about sharpening and upsizing old textures, other modifications can be done for character models. The technology isn't even a year old, at least what people are doing to upres old games. There are still some issues, the AI doesn't always interpret everything correctly but its improving technology and we are seeing a massive amount of new projects to upscale older games.

the videos i've seen of it do actually have that, though i know my own gameboy pocket I used to play link's awakening on now has some god awful response times which I certainly don't remember being there.. but the damn thing is ancient as hell now so I wouldn't be surprised if it got worse over time. the bleed is insane. could very well be rose tinted glasses honestly, but can't really know without footage of a real gameboy pocket from the era
