Kingdom Hearts is a shit series. It's embarrassing how this garbage continues to sell well. This stupid literal FANFIC whose author is Nomura.

You are right.
Did you just bumped your own thread?
calm down chris ray gun
Barry, are you okay?
looks fine to me
I don't care the boys are cute and it's fun
problem?
It's shit, but it's hilarious.
what an original opinion you got there
Eh, I’m still having fun.
What do you care ?
It's enjoyable to a degree for some of us, did nomura force you to play it ?
It's literally one of the greatest series ever and I am thankful I live in a universe where it exists. I'm certain this is the reason why shitposter normies are so gravitated by it. It's literally an anomaly.
There's a lot more artistic merit to the KH series than people are willing to give it credit for. In its way it's pretty experimental.
Is there a greater pleb filter series?
Well yeah, that's the point.
Also, reminder that Sora needs the Keyblade to have superhuman stats since when he's not using it, a single punch is enough to take him down.
Nomura can't do a consistent power level for shit.
And I love it.
Yep. Other than MGS, which is dead, there is no AAA franchise as auteur driven as KH.
>MGS, which is dead
The story is over for Metal Gear. It literally came full circle with the first two games now. That's it. And frankly MGS5? It never needed to exist. That was just Kojima being a bastard. And same goes to Peace Walker. The story ended with MGS4.
>FanFic
>Has been written and directed by the same man that created the series from day 1
I don't think you understand what a "FanFic" is, you Summerfag.
Its funny just how savage the disney characters can be
Based and KHpilled.
Nah KH2 is the only good game
the rest are for smelly virgins
He didn't create Disney or Final Fantasy. Only his OCs.
Grabbing pre-existing properties and mixing them together and creating OCs for self-insertion. Yeah that's what Kingdom Hearts is you fantard. Just because Nomura got the budget to make his fanfic a reality doesn't mean it's not a fanfic.
He only uses FF characters he personally designed in KH with like 2 exceptions. Disney is irrelevant filler.
Not him but do you consider Smash Bros a fanfic too? Even that series has OCs with pre established characters, and have had crossover stories in some of the entries.
What baffles me is how anyone can go through the horrendous story, script, and voice acting with a straight face and not turn the game off. It's not even bad in a funny way.
Because sometimes schlock is entertaining in it's terribleness.
I don't know how it is entertaining. It's pure cringe.
Because it's just not for you. Sorry man.
Smug dismissal is a sign of low IQ. Kingdom Hearts is essentially the analytic philosopher's wet dream, where ideas refer to things that exist, and the reference gives credence to the idea. So ---- comes back because memories are real, so even though Roxas and Lea have gotten separated from their memories of her, those memories just need to get reasserted. Like, this shit has been going on since Chain of Memories. KH has one of the most coherent long-running narratives of gaming.
Vivi is one of the few exceptions noted and he shows up for a few minutes during a tutorial. The prominent characters of KH (Cloud, Yuffie, Aerith, Squall, etc) are all Nomura-created.
>Smash doesn't have a story in most of the games and the ONE game that dared to have a story?
I know World of Light has jack in terms of cutscenes compared to Subspace Emissary, but it still had and told a story.
>And doesn't really have very many OCs like the punching bag with eyes.
The villains in both those stories were OCs made for the characters from all the series to beat up. Even then there's characters like Master Hand and Crazy Hand who existed in the series prior to those games.
>No original music or story, just the characters people love going at it.
All the Smash games have original music technically. All their main themes and the remixes of it, are original music.
>Smash is more like Marvel Vs Capcom, just grabbing popular characters and throwing them together for a brawl and that is the center piece of the product.
I'll give you that.
Other way around. KH is normalfag repellent due to the prominence of "cringe" culture in the West and posturing zoomers who think that something is immature because it has Mickey Mouse in it.
Then who is the audience? Complete rejects?
What you missed is that Sora is essentially a Messianic figure. youtube.com
Watch this brilliant scene. One thing that really stands out is the “I am who I am…” line. It makes the religious tone of Blank Points even more blatant, especially with the pause before he says, “…because of them.” Maybe the implications are unintentional, but it’s something interesting to note all the same. I mean, after everyone called out to him like they were praying, culminating in Aqua crying when she heard his name.
I really like how he says his friends have made him who he is here. He could take all the glory for himself, but he doesn’t. He gives credit where credit is due, because he knows he’s connected to his friends as much as they are connected to him. And because of all the ways they’ve helped and shaped him, he feels it is his duty to help them in return, so off he goes.
isn't that the appeal
some people like that shit
You forgot to not be an asshole and just say "people who played the first game as a kid and fell in love."
This post better be laced in irony.
I'll take that as your concession.
>great music
>fun gameplay
>lots of varied and interesting locales to visit per game
>writing that can go from cheesy to emotional and everywhere in between
The series is pure kino and OP is a faggot as usual
>literally turns into a heartless
>goes apeshit in CoM and almost fights Donald and Goofy
>brutally murders the Organization in KH2, Anti-Form
>falls to darkness in DDD
>KH3 vs Xehanort, literally has a Rage Form phase, and Rage Awakened as the battle theme
When you look into Sora and Xehanort, they are more similar than work as polar opposites than people realize. That's why KH3 ended with Xehanort bequeathing Sora his Keyblade, which is another plot point many slower players missed.
Honestly, in my years of talking KH online I've come to realize that a lot of people simply do not have the mental faculties to process the ideas in KH. Not to say those people are dumb, but it's undeniable that you need a certain capacity for abstract thought to truly grasp the universe of this game and understand why the things that happen are consistent and logical.
>all those deleted posts
So it really was Barry shitposting. Yikes.
I like the GBA game most. I am still playing KHIII but it is very long and I don't know when I will complete it.
Game should take you about 30-35 hours user. What world are you in right now?
I had a crazy idea just now. Riku's hair change implies that they are in a dream realm. Everything after Xigbar said "May your heart be your guiding key" doesn't actually happen in the real world. Everyone in that bad ending died for real and Sora being saved by Kairi allowed him to make the ending he deserved. After he saved the day he went back to the real world, leaving everyone else behind in the afterlife. Xigbar's mysterious disappearance after his bossfight is him diving back out of the dream world to reality. Sora is the only survivor when he thought everyone bit it which is why Xigbar's plan moved on to the next phase.
I have completed Kingdom of Corona and am nearly done with Toy Box. After I finish, I plan on reviewing my progress so far, building more ships, and finding more secrets in the worlds I have unlocked.
What? KH3 is not long at all. Worlds are ridiculous small, except for Frozen that drags a lot. Something like Toy Box is a small street and a small mall, BH6 is fucking short despite the big hub, Monsters is short. Caribbean story-wise is ridiculous short, but the exploration makes for it.
I can't believe that cutscene is real. KH is just a prank gone way too far.
KH3 has the biggest and most intricate worlds in the series thus far though. It’s just that they’re made into one or two big areas with subareas in them instead of a bunch of small areas put together.
