This feels like the biggest plot hole in the series

This feels like the biggest plot hole in the series.
Maya, Mia and pearl can all channel spirits yet they don't or only do it when convinient.
Maya has the excuse that she's not that skilled but we later see that she's pretty skilled and could try more often she even became a master and didn't help out just cause she felt she might offend somebody. Pearl could be used for every case. Mia could of helped in the first case and her trials.
Every single case in the series could be solve much easier this way.

This issue with AA extends outside of just spirit channeling. Your client is frequently little or no help to you even when they know pertinent information that could save them. They usually have an excuse and sometimes it makes sense like your client was unconscious during the crime but then there are ones like 1-3 where your client just keeps leaving really obviously important shit out so that you have to figure it out.

You seem to forgot what happened to their mom when they channeled a victim.

they literally say in the first game that channeling a victim isn't 100% certain to give the truth. That's literally the point of the DL-6 incident

play dl-6

>Every single case in the series could be solve much easier this way.
The first game has an example of why this doesn't work out, and a later game shows again why this wouldn't work out.
Spoilers for a later entry.
The 3rd Case of Spirit of Justice proves things can go very wrong and why that could possibly not work.

>watch anime
>either the case is very obvious or they keep throwing random facts in out of nowhere
>also bullshit like swinging a body across a ravine with just a rope attached to a bridge
Literally made me not want to ever play these games

The aniime is shit, play the game they're good.

It's not like the cases are any different, right? The cases were pretty shitty

Spirit channeling would not have solved:
>2-2
>2-3
>2-4
>3-5
>4-2
>4-4
>5-2

And of course the Khurain cases in 6 make it a point to show how magic won't solve every case.

He already saw the bridge pendulum, no point.

I'll take the "DL-6 incident" for 500, Alex

Did you even finish the first game?

>how do we get through this door?
>I know, let's spend a full day brute forcing the lock instead of cutting the chain or the bars in 5 minutes

DL-6 and 6-3 cases have proven that channeling won't make it any easier.

They straight up cut some of the characters.

this pissed me off so much
there was no reason for them to straight up use a welder to break that shit down

For all that talk of Gregory Edgeworth caring about justice, his ghost sure was quick to point to an innocent man when he had no idea who really killed him. At least lying to cover for his son would have been an actual reason.

someone bought all the bolt cutters in japanifornia
and also all the welders
and torches
everything
the ultimate crime

isn't that exactly why he did it, because he -also- thought it was possible his son did it?

Misty Fey was literally right and was vindicated at the end of the Edgeworth case

The portraits in the HD version look really effortless. Like they just added some emulator filter to the original sprites.

is noone else going to notice that you think mia is a spirit channeler

In the gamw the door does look like Solid Steel rather than a small chain and bar gate.

Maya says that Mia was extremely gifted and skilled as a medium, but left the village to do law anyway.

no

Well, she was, so there's no comment to make.

Yogi didn't kill Greg.

Gregory thought his son did it so he blamed based parrot man. Everyone was passed out when the murder took place. That’s what fucked everything up.

But why did he think his son did it? He passed out before getting shot by von Karma.

If you think that's bad wait until SoJ
Spirit channeling sounds useful, but it's not definitive proof. Maybe AA7 will have an asinine attorney where von karma and gregy battle it out to settle the score once and for all.

It's made of Japanese steel

>Gregory thought his son did it so he blamed based parrot man.
Which is really weird considering his later characterization in Miles Edgeworth 2 involved Edgeworth finally getting justice for the falsely accused man his father had died trying to help.
