I don't get this meme, aside from having similar hair to the cleric beat and a big arm there's not really anything Bloodborne about the boss. Like sure it's probably the same artist which is why the hair looks similar, but a reused asset? That's dumb.

There's one enemy that resembles Manus in BB and it doesn't have long arm ground slams, AoE attacks or ranged attacks. If anything Laurence was proto-Demon.

Maybe, but it really looks like one of the big furry boss creatures found in Bloodborne. Its design also kind of stands out when compared to the other bosses, so I think that it being based on an older asset is not a far fetched thought.

I just think they have an artist on their time that likes putting weird matted locks of hair on shit. I mean if you take the hair away it's just a weird big dude with a corpse face, something that's pretty normal in every From game. Hell even the unmasked Okami's have a placeholder corpse face.

Its design doesn't look like anything from BB other than having fur. It's straight out of Japanese painting with the poses it does and the horns, skin and the big belly it has. The only substantial constant is the arm.
