If I ever play it I was totally set on running a team of Big, Vector, and Omega. Probably wouldn't do me any favors if I actually wanted to win but I like who I like.

Probably just to fill in the gaps the base roster left, maybe with some fanservice picks to help make them into teams. Espio, Charmy, Cream, and the Babylon Rogues are a priority

It makes much more sense to just use the Heroes roster and add in the characters that didn't exist in that game, yes.
But that's not what SEGA wanted, they wanted Chao to be a racer and they probably are why Zavok is in too

Promote you to play it more. They should have just had an in game shop like the first All Stars Racing had, then had the mod pods be for bonus boxes

all it promotes is me being annoyed that i can't unlock parts for characters i prefer to play first and have to slog through boosters and random parts praying i get more for those that i do play

Really? Because I use Sonic most (I'm basic) and I'm only missing one of his parts, but I've yet to use Rouge and have none of hers. I kind of figured the randomizer picks in favor of whatever your most used characters are

i mean i plan on doing online at some point anyway, but i was pretty set on 100%ing the story mode first to unlock things and git gudder at the game
that and i don't wanna get mad at randoms not slingshotting yet

Good luck, Daredevil missions are the bane of my existence so I'm pretty sure I'll never 100% this mode, but then again, I didn't 100% World Tour either

i did most of them as default sonic lel, it's just a matter of getting used to drift arcs
keep in mind you can start a drift right before the ring/post/whatever and it'll still count as a drift

The daredevils aren't insanely difficult, but you need a ton of handling for it. Worst daredevil by far is ice mountain though. fuck those shitty turns

I've only unlocked one for her. But with or without them her base stats are kind of shitty.
