Literally everybody, even in the most restrictive professional rulesets, allows open tanyao. Just because nobody spams kuitan nomi like a nyagger doesn't mean it's not allowed.
That game was awwful, I either got the shittiest hands in existence or very good hand that I could never finish. And more than that the chink at my right, who won was constantly tsumoing good hands.
dam this cute korean set is like double tidy and subtle, too bad it belongs to user who has like 10 more sets so it's not even played most likely
Need to change my mind and luck, get in.

Reached Expert 1 the other day but I'm having a hard time climbing further, stuck around 500 at the moment.
But I intent to participate in the tournament, gonna read some strategy books and keep practicing.
As Master-1, I still fear I won't make it into the 10 player quota.
>Just saw a guy get kokushi'd
>I leveled up to adept because of it ending the match
Thanks loser
what the fuck is with these retarded chink cats pon chi'ing themselves into oblivion?
Started reading Akagi to maybe improve my mahjong skills. I had to stop because the guy makes the most insane moves and it'd just ruin my game if I tried anything shown there.
Plus you don't read hands and waits like Akagi does.
how did you guys learn mahjong? i'm a hapa and my parents didn't try to teach me (reeee mom why didn't you teach me chinese). is there a website or good video you'd recomend?
I really like the look of vintage Japanese sets, the thin engraving and fake dovetail is really nice
>whale just left after I declared riichi
I feel kind of bad.
Also top100 bros, ww@?
See the secret is that you do this as well to make people think you're a retard who's screwing themselves into a yakuless hand then bam you hit em with a triple dragons or something with a few dora
I gave up. I'm just too slow and dumb.

You join an East Silver Room and face this Cat. How do you proceed?
This guide is very long and the guy seems kind of pretentious at times, but it's very well explained and it's all done with real tiles which makes a lot of the mechanics like the dead wall, ura dora, and riichi sticks make a lot more sense when you see them in digital mahjong games.

I'm almost done with Akagi after watching Kaiji a few years back, I live it so much despite me knowing jack shit about mahjong. Is the Kaiji manga still going? How about the Akagi manga?
Well shit I got one moment of luck in the game that pushed me to second but got fucked right after.

they're still a pair
and you need a pair if you're going to pinfu
Could use them for chanta or honroutou.
what is pinfu?

Dead wall and it can be a dangerous discard if none has been dropped so far later on.
How much Mahjong knowledge do I have to have if I want to platinum the Yakuza games?
how do you change your anime titties in this game? is there an pastebin for mahjong yet?
All sequences
Valueless pair
Must win on a 2-sided wait
In short, the wining hand must score no fu.
For a beginner not familiar with yakus, keeping your hand closed is the best thing you can do. Open tanyao and yakuhai are shit unless you're in 1st and want the match to end quickly. Aim for more valuable hands.
t. Adept 2
It's a joke image.
The real answer is you can call for cheap hands to get a feel for the game and win hands in bronze, but in a more standard meta with less new (and chinese) players typically you should just keep your hand clsoed by default and only open if you're close to one of the meatier yaku or if you have a lot of dora in your hand and want to cash in on it with a simple fast yaku like all simples or seat wind/round wind/dragon triplet.
Cheap fast open hands are also nice when you're East since winning gets you a bonus round, or when you're way in the lead and just want to keep your lead and end the match quickly.
>discard a 9 tile from a 68 early
>it furitens a 3 sided wait later

If you want to know how the last match end you'll have to read the Akagi manga.
He probably doesn't have a lot of games played yet.
>novice 3
>cat food supplier
Playing in chinese hours is so tempting but I need to get up for work in 5 hours
Sigh it wasn’t enough...
Exactly, he must have barely touched the game, and it takes about $850 to get the Cat Food Supplier title.
He has 77 games played in friendly and 43 in ranked, south and east combined.
In ranked it's 39 east and in friendly it's 44 east, wtf. Why is he even playing east in friendly, it's to have fun.
I think some of the tips like reading gestures, changes in expression, eye movements, habits are applicable in real life mahjong. Couldn't do that in computer games though.
Don't stop and you'll learn how to cheat.
East is fun though, just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else also does.
The two first arcs of Kaiji are so fucking boring and uninteresting. I know the next arc is the mahjong one, is it any better ? At least it won't be a fucking patchinko.
The tiles are super ugly in that game.
>he didn't like the bog
kill yourself
What's better in east ? If I play in friendly I just want to have fun so the longer the best.
Whale you guys are talking about here, I have a master main, this whale alt is for bronze room connect kan, friendlies and memes.
what's the issue?
let a richfag do his things
Does that mean you paid ~$850... twice?
Slots and patchinkos are the worse thing that gambling can offer. There's nothing to do just dumb fucking luck. It's also why the Washizu match isn't as interesting as the Ichikawa match in Akagi. While Whashizu is a cool character by his tenacity and greed, his mahjong skills are reduced to just having luck.
Well I apology then. You must really like this game.
Why did you pay for CFS on your alt instead of your main?
>There's nothing to do just dumb fucking luck.
That's the point of the arc, with the machine being the most rigged busted piece of shit to ever exist
In the end it wasn't luck that beat it, it was bruteforcing the shit out of it
I thought the pachinko arc was going to suck for that reason too, but it was amazing. It turned into some kind of insane heist movie sort of thing, I don't see the problem.
I wouldn't say I'm the hugest fan of the pachinko game but the interesting part was watching Kaiji try to get past all the layers of cheating bullshit that were set up. That being said you might like 17 steps more, it's not conventional mahjong but it's still pretty good.
Also since when walking on a girder is gambling ?
why is cat so cute?
Well doesn't help that I don't like Kaiji's character.
Also there's something weird about the rock paper scissors game. If you can exchange your cards, why don't you just wait a bit until someone loses all of his and give him yours, you'll have your 3 stars and no cards.
Give up on Kaiji it was a seinen manga and madhouse tried to twist it into shounen by dumbing down emotions here and where and making Kaiji a bigger bitch, and so it's quite incomprehensive at times, for example his certain loss made no sense in the anime because they simplified Kaiji's doubts and expressions through the events which led to it, so much for a character drama. The season 2 is even weirder, cutting down Endou's suffering and making him a cartoon villain, while they had all the time in the world to borrow from balls and give some to the poor fucker. Or don't give up because the music directing in s1 is very nice.
Another thing that the Akagi anime did better is to skip a big part of the characters repeating the same things over and over, when you read Akagi you'll have multiple chapters that you don't need to read because everything was already said. They kept too much of that shit in the Kaiji anime.
Seriously. The whole S2 could have (and should have) been one-cour, not only without losing anything, it would've been a lot better.
I didn't watch Akagi since ~2012 and I wonder if it's still as good or actually I shouldn't rewatch it to keep the warm memories. I marathoned the manga 2 years ago though along with Ten and that made me to pick up riichi, finally.
I disagree because I really felt trough the suspense but one ep worth of short scenes they definitely could spare for the tendies man.
Has anyone read pic related (Mukoubuchi) ? It's from the same magazine that edited Akagi.
It's still good. The hard part come after in the manga where it's endless.
I rewatched it recently because of mahjong soul and I liked it just as much as I did before, but I consider it one of my favourite anime anyways.
I am out of chips.
>endless
I know the english translation was ongoing for just a portion of the original run, maybe 6 years out of 20 but still people who read that for 6 years ongoing are all harmed for life. I see it from time to time, they hate the thing and I dunno what to say because I read Akagi in 3 days in full and thought it's 8/10 the best thing ever. Same with friendship arc in Kaiji.
I read Akagi in a few days too but I just skimmed through a lot of useless chapters. I don't understand how the editor allowed that so many of them are absolutely empty.
They are for the stinky atmosphere.
Meant for
No, they're useless. The atmosphere is already set up and they only bore you.
Probably because akagi was carrying the magazine for decades
speedy young boi with the only correct opinion, I see
The arc is already long and slow. You can set up the atmosphere in one or two panels and Fukumoto is already doing that perfectly. You really don't need 3 whole chapters to repeat again and again the same things.
>2 games in a row where my tile draws are fucking trash
>draw nothing but useless terminals and honors
Are you talking about washizu arc? Honestly it's just better to watch it with anime or live action.
Yeah the Washizu arc. and I agree, the anime is better since it skip all those repetitions but sadly it doesn't cover the whole arc. I haven't watched the live action so I can say.
Slow comics with a lot of explanations can be very good, see pic related. But there is no need to repeat unless your main demographic is goldfish.
Kokushi Musou or Nagashi Mangan.

>double sided wait
>all my winning tiles are already pairs or sequences in their hands
It was an accident, it can't be helped.
How do I read that someone is in tenpai for a chiitoitsu?
How do I read what their waits are for this?
What is it called when all five games you have played in a day have had you coming in 3rd or 4th due to others getting riichi and tsumos before you have a hand made?
>How do I read what their waits are for this?

>How do I read that someone is in tenpai for a chiitoitsu?
Have you ever mide chitoitsu yourself? Maybe you should try one or two, it will help you understand.
unlucky
>1 game
Unlucky
>5 games
Learn tile efficiency
>implying streaks of 5 purely unlucky games can't happen
On a scale of several thousands of games, I ensure you even longer streaks of retarded unavoidable 4th places can and do happen. Not saying that this user's case is one of those, and perhaps you are right, but still, the automatic assumption won't be always true.
It's called sucking at mahjong.
Try practising efficiency, you probably shouldn't go online until you can at least double riichi a chiitoitsu in round 1, otherwise you're just asking to lose.
I've done a couple and people always deal in, so it feels like it's super hard to tell.
Yes, because having shit like this happen to me all day is obviously because I can't count tiles.
>How do I read that someone is in tenpai for a chiitoitsu?
i'm a newer player myself but whenever i go for this hand i usually just discard whatever single tiles i have that have been discarded too.
if none have been discarded, i'll save 1,2,8,9s because they are more commonly discarded so i can see if there are less then 3 more active.
what i'm getting at is look for sporadic discarding of 5s etc and a pond that doesn't make much sense otherwise.
>Discards 2 sou before lone north or lone green dragon
Post your replays of your 5 last games.
Well there's no easy way to read pair wait but good players will probably use yaouchu tiles for last pair. Of course there are other options, for example dora and red five waits are good in damaten. With riichi i always go for yaouchu because otherwise it's too risky and unreliable. Generally 0 of or 1 ofs are all risky against chitoitsu.
I drew 2 sou, north and green and gradually had to get rid of them because I had better tiles at time drawn. Then I draw the two green dragons back to back even though I was trying to save the first green dragon knowing something like that might happen AGAIN but was thinking "what are the odds it'll happen a FIFTH TIME TODAY.
Sure, maybe I am missing something so I welcome feedback. Some plays on the last last rounds I gave up because there was no way to come back and just threw a tile I knew they needed.
Disgusting
I just got into this series today and i've been binging it since 5am-9pm it's so fucking good. Why isn't there a kaiji videogame yet?

Here are the requirements for the completion in Yakuza Zero
>Go out 10 times
>Go out 5 times with Mangan
>Go out 1 time with Haneman
>Go out 1 time with Riichi Ippatsu
>Go out 1 time with a Flush (123-456-789+pair)
>Earn 10M in mahjong
The Mangan and Haneman requirements are mostly luck based, the rest come naturally when playing for the 10M
In comparision the mahjong completion in Kiwami 2 is much easier, but you can cheat in this one anyway

We need more events, i need stuff to do.
You want stuff to do? Get a second job like AL or FGO.
Why do you guys keep tossing live Yakuhai right away
If the 2, north and greens are all useless to your hand then you should drop the north or green first if you're playing efficiently, and the 2 last. A 2 can become a protorun with 1,3 or 4, and a pair with another 2. A north or green can only be useful if you draw a second identical tile. Or are going for kokushi musou or something, I guess.
If your problem is other people completing their hands before you can, then holding on to lone honour tiles isn't helping.
Can I play without having any skill?
It's encouraged!

It's not about what's in your hand, it's about not giving valuable shit to an opponent that's waiting on it.
Ergo, you discard those fuckers ASAP because a) the longer you wait, the more likely they'll be in a position to call on them and b) dragging one person down by keeping useless tiles in your hand doesn't work in a four player game.
That's at the beginning of the round. That's exactly when you want to be discarding lone honors because the other players are least likely to have a pair to pon you with. Are you stupid or something?

How am I supposed to win consistently in this game?
I nearly beat the 'come back from 1000 points' challenge in Yakuza Kiwami 2 and the game slapped me backwards in the last round with shit draws
Great game.
ggs nice comeback to first at the end
you use them to unlock the alternate costume for you are waifu
there's a pic that gets reposted fairly often giving the requirements for the alt costume, they're different for each character so you need different spheres
This shit seems very complicated, though I did enjoy Kaiji and Akagi.
Guess I should just never bother calling riichi because someone else will just riichi and I'll deal in even with a great wait and should also immediately fold even when some only pons once because of course they will always have toitoi with many dora at the beginning of the match and I should break apart the only mangan+ hand I'll get for the rest of the game. Of course I know how to defend that's not hard but I'll never win like this. It's not like I'm unreasonably pushing hard either. I discard as safe as I can while doing it. It seems like the above always happens or I get no chance because every other round is someone riiching within 7 turns and the smart thing would be to fold which I do and inevitably end up 3rd or 4th after tsumos. I tried just pushing every game instead of folding recently just to see if maybe I need to push more but no it's just a ticket straight to 4th place and negative too. It also doesn't help when not once in dozens of games have I been not tsumo'd for a mangan and more as dealer so I'm always behind that way too. Never ever when its someone else, always me. If I try to push back to prevent of course I'll eat shit too because everyone either riichis super quick when its my turn or everyone pons like its a competetion to see who pons the most. All South games too.

If you think you're going to get 4th place anyway then why not try to be more aggressive? Break riichis by calling, chase their riichi, go for open but big hands. You're going to get 4th place anyway so why not fight?

Silver, because you get gift boxes after x amount of games, as well bond affection for your character. Unless you placed 4th every time, the copper losses are minimal.
each sphere equals 1 summon scroll
Hmm,I briefly mentioned that but If I do that it's just a guaranteed ticket straight to 4th place and negative. There's only so many reasonable hands I can chase and even when I do, of course risky tiles are the winning tiles. I decided to test out being completely aggressive and then countless times I told myself to give up chasing a hand even if I only need to discard this one tile to riichi and its a bad idea but do it and get hit with a haneman. I don't do that if its a cheap hand of course but it seems I only get strong hands when opponents have even stronger hands.
>alt costumes but no alt emotes
what's the point?
>no alt emotes
Hmm?
on page 125 of riichi book 1... progressing very slowly, i find it so hard to get through this at the computer when infinite distractions are just a click away
tsumo with mangan or haneman is a common thing, you have to deal with them by making your own mangans and hanemans to compensate the loss of points. Even 1 mangan tsumo can be enough to secure a good second place with decent lead, assuming you don't deal in to others.
>Guess I should just never bother calling riichi because someone else will just riichi and I'll deal in even with a great wait
Don't riichi with shit 1 han hands, keep doras in check and don't take unnecessary risks like that suji aggressive user from last thread.
>and I should break apart the only mangan+ hand I'll get for the rest of the game.
Your mangan is a dust if you can't make it in time.
>and the smart thing would be to fold which I do and inevitably end up 3rd or 4th after tsumos.
third place isn't a loss, you can't win every hanchan. 4th place means you eoither didn't won even once with good hand or simply makde a big mistake so in the end it's your fault usually. Watch your game again and learn the mistake.
>or everyone pons like its a competetion to see who pons the most.
Everyone can't have pon of doras at the same time. Try to read their hands. If you can't then come back to replay and watch it from that player's perspective and try to understand what exactly you could do in that situation.
Your good, i am still on page 70. One step at a time.
>Don't riichi with shit 1 han hands
What if you don't have any yaku beyond riichi?
Hope for a menzen tsumo?
just one of those days
Not him but if you are the dealer or you have a ryanmen wait or better, you should absolutely riichi without any other han. If you're not the dealer and you have a bad wait, then you should try and improve your hand by improving the wait or adding value. Also don't take tenpai to begin with if you're not going to call riichi, because it's much faster and easier to rebuild your hand when you're further away from tenpai.
Onee-san, I hope you're ready for a point-increasing open kan!
>What if you don't have any yaku beyond riichi?
Then don't riichi.. If you can't even remake into pinfu simply fold. I had one game where i was tempai without riichi and ryanmen wait, one faggot decided to make a kan because why not. Then i did riichi and won a haneman. You should consider a lot of things, not just your hand. Watch other people's discards, think about stuff that can improve your position. Don't feed trash honitsu nyaggers and let them deal in get negative.
I was going to give up for another long time but I'll keep trying. Maybe there's just somethings I'm not seeing.
>Don't riichi with shit 1 han hands, keep doras in check and don't take unnecessary risks like that suji aggressive user from last thread.
I have no issues tearing down a 3 han or less hand to avoid dealing in, let alone 1 han hands which are not even worth discussing and I usually have a 2 han minimum anyway. If I have to discard a risky dora to reach iishanten or even tenpai I usually never do it. I only recently done stuff like that and deal in because I'm just trying to see if I should take the risks or not, which is never worth it.
>Your mangan is a dust if you can't make it in time.
Yes.
>4th place means you eoither didn't won even once with good hand
Yes, that's it almost every case. As per above its either break that one hand the game will give me or deal in, or try to make something out of yakuless doraless very far from shanten hands into mentanpin or something which get beat out by the yakuhai. If it's a big mistake, I already know it because it's a risk I decided to take to try to win. Usually when stuck in 4th from tsumos and little to lose since theres not much point loss from 4th to negative as from 3rd to 4th.
>Everyone can't have pon of doras at the same time. Try to read their hands. If you can't then come back to replay and watch it from that player's perspective and try to understand what exactly you could do in that situation.
Oh that's not what I meant there but that its either someone riichis insanely quick when its my turn and iipatsu mangan+ tsumos me but barely happens to others it seems, OR everyone starts to pon pon pon and slams down a quick ron off someone or tsumos with a cheap 1 han yakuhai hand just so my turn is over it feels like.

Well, there are "bad luck" periods for everyone. Maybe it's time to play a few games with anons and relax a bit or simply play something else.

Hey boys, why is always RISING SUN with koizumi? It's too predictable.
I quit for now. I feel like I actually finally got a pretty good grasp of the rules and everything, but I must be aiming for the wrong hands cause I rarely ever manage to get to tenpai unless I'm getting amazing draws.

You're not opening your hand for the first time. It hurts, doesn't it
Here although I don't really play anymore, just lurk a bit.
It's heartbreaking almost getting out several times in a row and then dealing into a sanbaiman or some shit in the south round.
Stop discarding unsafe tiles.
>Six turns in
>Discard an isolated North tile
>Deal into a half flush with three dora
I wish I knew how.
Sometimes you get unlucky. What is your deal-in rate? Probably high.
Why is there a sudden interest in mahjong on Yea Forums?

>Good, you should get that experience and decide what exactly works for you.
Just sucks cause I don't enjoy playing defensive but its the best for me.
>Well, there are "bad luck" periods for everyone. Maybe it's time to play a few games with anons and relax a bit or simply play something else.
Definitely, it seemed like it ended for me but it was only for a mere 10 games. This is like the only game that actually makes me butthurt when I lose. You're right, I should stop grinding and just try to have fun. I have a lot more fun playing with anons too anyway.
ff14 has mahjong now
>Why is there a sudden interest in mahjong on Yea Forums?
New mahjong server.
Same situation. Feel like there is no point in playing until I have gotten through the book anons post occationally.
I just feel like shit when I actually try my hardest to keep high efficiency and discard safe tiles but it is still not enough to win against the bugmen.
Some has to pay for that ron, Cat. Who is it gonna be?

You get absolutely NOTHING for having a closed hand so there's even more calling than nyaggers on bronze room and it has barely any "yaku," it's so dull
This is how you fuck with people.

Majsoul Friends Room 93770(4-Player South): mahjongsoul.game.yo-star.com
what the fuck is a yakuman?
highest scoring kind of hand in mahjong, there are several of them and they all have specific make ups, look them up if you want to go for them
3/4
What could be considered an average deal-in rate?
who else is riding that shit luck wave
Yakuman is the limit score, it's 13 han which is worth 32000 points as non-dealer and 48000 as dealer.
"Yakuman" typically refers to the special hands that are automatic yakuman like thirteen orphans, but counting 13 han from regular yaku and dora still counts as a yakuman. This is typically called a "counted yakuman" to distinguish it.
A yakuman is the maximum score you can get by regular means, but in some rulesets you can stack multiple yakuman and certain waits or harder ones will count as double yakuman. Mahjong Soul allows this, I think it goes up to 6x yakuman.

13% is probably around the average.
Daina Chiba says that as a rule of thumb, you should aim to have at least a 10% higher win rate than deal-in rate.
ron on last discard
that means the last discard of the round (i.e. the the last draw of the round just happened because the wall is now empty) was the player's winning tile

i know bit of mahjong but not enough to play casually like somebody who played it for a long time, so what i want to know is there a tutorial game built in or i have to go through youtube?
To be fair, even pro-level players don't do any of the ridicolous shit you see in Akagi. I mean, most of it is theoretically possible, but in practice you don't read walls beyond getting a vague idea of what the other guy is doing.
it teaches you the bare basics. just do those and have this by your side.
Small tutorial, a no stakes room to get much need practice.
Tons of other guides around

thank bros, will check it out
>tfw bullied

I started watching Akagi recently
Did riichi even exist back in the 50s or whenever this takes place? Wouldn't it have just been Japanese classical back then?
ggs!, no bully zone
It's in mid-90s. dumbass
akagi is set in the 50s-early 60s you idiot
Mahjong was introduced to Japan in the 1920s.
I'm aware, but the modern riichi variant must have taken some time to evolve. I have no idea when it came into place, but I would have figured it was still japanese classical back then.
Another question, who are the extra two players in these big wager matches supposed to be? Are they just a neutral third party or are they the yakuza's goons? Because if it's the latter, they'd have no reason to do anything but help their side win and it wouldn't be an even game. Is it ever explained?

You could get hands every 5 turns too, if you're efficient with the tiles.
He can't win.
isp acting up again
Guy on the right called two fucking kans, boosting my hand to dealer mangan and left's hand to haneman, then dealt into both at the same time.
Riichi was founded in the mid 50's by gangsters to give mahjong a bit more of a gambling edge, so yeah, the manga is fairly historically accurate.
I hope they add more optional rules for friendlies, like the sekinin barai ones, the person who drops the 3rd dragon/4th wind after the others were called deserves to be liable for enabling that shit.
>Not discarding 1 man
You have no one to blame but yourself.
>already discarded a pair of 2man
>not discarding the 1man the second you get anything else
I think he's more complaining about 3 players calling riichi in less than 10 turns
it's both

Is there any source for this? I've tried to find information on the game's history and haven't found anything other than the Chinese game being brought to Japan in 1924.
>tfw can't handle how sluggish mahjong soul is
Then play on Tenhou.
Im already stressed out on s*ul. Do you have even less time to think on tenhou?
Similar thing happened to me. Except that while I was leading by 16k from 2nd place, he kan into 8 dora and hit the disconnect on the 3rd last tile for 18k.

A little less with 15 seconds. But you don't have the hand animations and all that shit, so it can become pretty fast. Though ippan is probably on the level of bronze and silver when it comes to speed.

>ron/tsumo in next round of draws
Why does this keep happening to me?
The tsumo sucks, but probably you wouldn't get the discard you needed for ron if you riichi'd, so that's working as intended.
why is mixed triple sequences so good
>everyone doing 500 IQ strats, carefully analyzing which ones to discard
>meanwhile I'm just doing unga bunga all simples or ez yaku and hope I win with a closed hand
Where will you go once these threads die? Will there be a general on /vg/? Will you share space with autists on /jp/? Or will you just quiet down and play anonymously until you finally lose interest?
feels a lot more common closed that a straight and straights can't tanyao.
>no game yet has 17 steps or Wachizu mahjong modes.
Disgusting
But it's at the bottom of hell that you can find the magical sands.
/jp/ is full of faggets
I'd rather go on /vg/ than /jp/ but not sure the thread would stay alive
Part 3 is the best part of Kaiji imo. I read it when I didn't even understand Mahjong and I still thought it was fantastic. It's the only arc where he's technically by himself (the 45ers are on his side, but they aren't cheering him on or helping him, so it feels very distance) and as the arc goes on he really gets stuck into some deep shit he has to get himself out of. It's got a really nice ending as well.
/vg/ for sure
Wouldn't it be nice to chase the fagets out of their own thread then?
The struggle is part of the fun.
I fear we will just blend right in
The Yea Forums threads will never die. Just talk about mahjong games in general and the mods can't do shit about it.
Just played two consecutive matches where paypigs won by a goddamn thousand mile. The pace was just ridiculous. I never got to tenpai, while others who tried to win fast with chii or pon just got swatted by riichi ippatsus. Would be disheartening if this is the direction the game is taking going forward.
But what of they die due to lack of interest? Are there enough mahjong fanatics to sustain the threads or will they return to the shadows once threads don't garner enough attention anymore?
As a half-decent player, I consider to pay too. Because I'm going to spend so much time here.
Funny how a couple days ago everyone was saying how easy it was to beat the gachafags and now it's turned around.
Some of the top players have the cat/oneesan avatar, you were unlucky or just not good enough.
NO THE CHINKS MUST BE BEHIND THIS
That's just them handicapping themselves
I've been doing pretty bad since I got to adept, but I just won against three adept 3s so there's that at least.
>it goes up to 6x yakuman.
Wtf, how do you even achieve this ?
I can only get to x5 with daisangen + tsuiisou + suukantsu + suuankou + tenhou/chiihou.
Suukantsu and tenhou/chihou are not stackable.
Tenhou (1) suuankou 1 wait (2) tsuiisou (1) 4 big winds (2) is a validad 6x yakuman.
Oh that's right it's obvious that you can't do both.
I thought it was to replace tiles that you lost.
>game doesn't let you end a match as last dealer unless you're first
Literally why, I don't mind being second at all.
If you're in noten for s4 it ends right there even if you're dealer.
That's because dealer turns don't continue unless everyone's noten.
>Just btfo two pay pigs of autism-chan
