What development? Nomura was literally going to copypast clone Rikus story until his staff told him to change it at the last minuet.

Hell no. The gameplay and cutscenes were repetitive and dull, Roxas spends the whole game acting like a retard, Xion was tacked on but then also makes the whole story about her, and the Organization were all wasted characters.

The only good part of the game was Axel's character development.

Honestly yeah. The KH1 adaptation is lame but KH2 and especially Days are way better written than the games.

No no, you got it wrong. Her story and attitude was supposed to be like duplicate Rikku but Nomura's staff made him change the ending where she would have attacked Roxas out of anger and spite. They wanted her to be a "good girl" to the end.
