Sniper and Spy are going to be shred to pieces either way, since unlike Engineer they aren't typically going to be near other allied players helping them move that gear up, or how an engineer will be near his dispenser or sentry, but they'll be able to scare off other fragile classes trying to make a play on them.
For Medic and Demoman, getting that hitscan burst damage is a straight-up buff that makes them far better at taking on scouts and pyros. Being able to shit out that burst damage at medium range instead of steady grinding down with the syringe gun/crossbow or risking getting into melee range is a massive upgrade for the medic, essentially.

One husky fella said "I think I'll rip that hat right off your head."
That's when my friend turned around and this is what he said:

Well right then I caught a little sadness in that comp player's eyes
