Apparently the best game ever made considering the fuss about it.
Second best Tales game after Berseria
A shiity relic from gen7 console war.
Most stupid AI in the world
Boring as fuck second half
Lot of backtracking
A group of retards (except Yuri).
>Azure edge Azure edge Azure edge victory music
Mediocre gameplay with a lame ass TECHNOLOGY BAD story
Yuri is a fun protagonist, and Estelle is cute.
A real shitty designed first boss
Playing it right now and I'm bored to tears, I can't play Tales anymore, I think. I'm still there for the party banter
Anyone else come to realize that the Tales series was never good and people just kind of latched onto it because it was the premier non-FF JRPG series for millennial weebs in the 2000s?
One of the best ensemble casts in JRPGs and 95% of the games content being hidden behind obtuse bullshit that is also missable nearly as soon as you gain access to it
don't start the game on hard mode. just fucking don't.
MC dies in the end and fights god.
Decent battle system, one of the last few good Motoi Sakuraba soundtracks, a meandering story salvaged by decent characters, the best graffix a Tales game has ever had.
sounds like an JRPG ever
Looks like The Tales of Vesperja Remaster.
Don't listen to the salty Berseria retards. It's one of the best if not the best game in the series. The story is pretty good with some plot contrivances here and there. The game play is stellar with creative combos slowly becoming the norm as you go on. The beginning may feel a tad sluggish, but the colorful cast really keeps the game alive. So yeah its a great game near masterpiece of it's genre
oh, also all of the villains are shit, except for pic related
Yikes, i get that you missed a lot of the side quests but duke is one of the coolest niggas once you find out He was never honorable it was all a life long plan for change in power
Everyone will show you cool combo videos but what they don't tell you is that 90% of the game will be attack attack attack arte arte because you don't get the tools to let you be awesome until very late game, post game, or new game plus.
Again completely false, by hour 3 you can cancel arcane artes to base artes.
Also
>INB4 Yuri is the only broken one
Memes
>gen7 console war.
The only ones who didn't get it back then was nintendo.
boredom
Wait, really? I think I even got most of the scenes (like 4/6 or however many there were) with him the first time around without looking them up, but didn't catch that.
Not him, but I never looked into that. How? I know about free-run cancelling but it doesn't seem like it lets you do that?
Yeah that's what I said. 3 attacks 2 artes. I didn't mean 2 base arts because you don't get that until right before you fight Flynn. Which is end game.
Shit i meant Alexie wanted power to change the world. Duke was on my mind because i just saw a cutscene of him. But Duke still is a top tier villain after that, you find out sooner that your goals are one in the same but duke has long lost his trust of humans.
By like the 3rd dungeon you should have Super chain 2 or 3. Which allows you to do a base arte into a altered art.
grinding. lots and lots of grinding. People who reminisce about Tales of Vesperia wouldn't dare start a fresh playthrough.
based
Weebshit
The most based JRPG protag to ever exist
>By like the 3rd dungeon you should have Super chain 2
I think the first thing of that sort you get is Super Chain 4 from the Sinclair Saber. You can shop it in Nordopolica and Dahngrest (but only after you've already been to Nordopolica, I think).
It lets you chain base artes into altered artes (instead of arcane ones) just around the time you get altered artes.
which sidequest? duke's didn't have anything that matches your claim: youtube.com
And also,
>you humans are the greatest evil, i must destroy you all for the sake of the puppies and the butterflies and the flowers
yeah he's a great villain alright
