The closest thing Saitama will ever get to a real fight is Boros, who was the strongest being in the universe. People bring up first form Garou but he didn’t really stand a chance, he was just close to breaking his limiter which was a big deal.
Saitama is comic relief and an impossible benchmark for others to strive toward, not a real character.

Genos is funny because he's such a straightman who takes everything extremely seriously. His Jap voice is short, sharp and clipped and straight to the point. But he's getting bodied left and right and surpassed by a literal gag fighter. That's the like... one of the core jokes of the series.

I honestly think dub saitama should have been genos's dub voice. In other shows/games the dub guy was constantly used for kaito ishikawa roles and fit the characters well.

It's still entertaining - the animation noticeably dropped off a cliff edge, but it still provokes the odd laugh. Madhouse did such a ridiculously good job with S1 that it would make anyone else's efforts with S2 look bad, which is the biggest problem it faces. It's reminiscent of the usual problem of a hit anime having an amazing opening in S1, then struggling to emulate it in following seasons (such as Attack on Titan, Mob Psycho or even One Punch Man itself, for recent examples) - only this applies to the entire anime rather than just the opening.

I do wonder what will happen for the third season. Hopefully Madhouse get back on board and JC can focus on Shokugeki again

Fubuki may have the bombshell look down, but it's straight out of the box and she puts nothing into it. Tatsumaki, if only out of frustration at being short, dresses and carries herself in a way to make it obvious to anyone who actually looks that she's a Woman. She's putting in the hard work and hours, so despite her callous and stand-offish attitude she absolutely oozes sultriness. It's like taking Elvira and turning her into an enforcer.

Its a satire of tournament arcs. It has everything, the cool rival, the edgy guy, the superior breed, the supporting character, the commentator, etc. The problem is it was rushed so you won't get to see some of the other details. Just read the manga honestly. They're probably gonna rush a lot more stuff with garou as well. In terms of the plot, it's to keep out saitama during the initial monster invasion and brings up questions about why heroes are even necessary to begin with.

My main problem with Shadowverse is that it pretty much only rewards you for winning matches regardless of game mode or event, which means that the game quality is tied to metagame quality to an absurd extent. However, they can't consistently have the meta be balanced (as usual in card games), so you often end up stuck for ~2 months in a terrible meta, and you can't avoid it because if you are not playing to win, you are not going to get rewarded.

Every game starts dying the moment it releases.

The first season of OPM was animated by a bunch of freelancers who did it mostly out of passion, explaining the level of consistency that first 12 episodes had. Of course, nobody looked into this and just assumed that Madhouse was responsible for it looking so good on name alone, but that's not the case. They probably couldn't get everyone back for the second season or MH wasn't capable of producing enough of its own animators, etc. for it, so the show had to be handed off to someone else and they probably had to redo a lot of shit, hence why it took so long to come out.

Honestly, while I see that the animation has taken a hit in the new season it doesn't bug me that much. What does is the bad breakneck pacing its been having.
