You still get 3 disciplines you retard not only that but you will get extra build variety since you can have your two clan disciplines + one of the thinblood disciplines. So not all Toreadors will be the same for example. You can be ''telekinetic'' or be ''I'M BATMAN'' or ''vape'' man if that's your thing.

There should be a folder named unofficial patch in the game directory man.

I'll repeat what i said in the thread yesterday. That's bad, in a video game Toreador and Ventrue are going to play very similar. Since it's only 5, the 4th and 5th should've been Malkavian, Nosferatu or Gangrel, so each of the 5 are quite different. Now only one of the three is going in, since it's pretty clear its going to be Camarilla Clans only. I'd give my left nut for Tzimisce or Follower of Set through.

Gangrel are a Camarilla clan now, so are Lasombra. They weren't at the time the game was originally written however

Gangrel left the Cam in canon while Bloodlines 1 was in development. They became an independent clan. After the calling and the Sabbat falling apart, they've been licking their wounds and crawling to the Camarilla who have become increasingly more sabbat. Also Nos are no longer Cammie. The Camarilla using post 9/11 paranoia about terrorists to report and have Sabbat bases taken out is what caused the NSA to find Shreknet. The Camarilla then left the Nosferatu out to dry and they haven't forgiven them

Giovanni also got fucked by the Cammies. First Light took out their largest haven and now the Gio's are so badly fucked that they are working with mortal enemies just to have some influence

Have you even played the first game? The third discipline was always something other clans had, how is that “differentiating” from others exactly? Also some disciplines were not fleshed out at all.
For example the brujah had presence which was just an aoe debuff which you activate occasionally. Auspex was a minor stat buff with aura vision, celerity was just bullet time, potence/fortitude were straight up passive buffs as well. All of those don’t change the actual way you handle combat/exploration
Thinblood disciplines on the other hand offer unique powers like levitation or mist form, usable in a multitude of ways

You won't be able to fly, it's only a glide ability. Also, not every objective is gonna be vertical so you'll still have to sneak on ground level at times. Besides, verticality isn't exclusive to gliding. Every clan will be able to scale rooftops and so on. All the thinblood disciplines are esentially the same but with different themes. One traversal discipline and the other is crowd control.

Since Confession is a Masquerade zone, you can actually scare her as a Nosferatu towards the entrance where there is no one and just feed from her there.

If you're looking at it from a pure gameplay perspective the Clan line-up probably should've excluded Toreador instead of Ventrue seeing as the latter has two unique disciplines for it and can fill the social role just as-well as Toreador can.

I think they mentioned in the PC gamer interview that part of why they were limiting the clans this time around was that it wasn't new player friendly, but this to me seems like a total fucking cop out. If your playing a story-focused RPG, you have to deduce that a new player has an interest in the STORY. IE the Universe the story is set in, these dudes can read like 2 paragraphs of flavour text and decide what clan to play, its really not that difficult.

It's not just about being ugly. As a Thinblood you're already an undead monster no matter how weak your curse is, you're on the bottom of the vampire chain. Camarilla puts an unhealing brand on you if they don't outright kill you, and many other vampires hunt you for sport just because you're some thinblood. As opposed to that you become a Nosferatu, gain additional disciplines that'll help you survive those nights and even better get to have other Nosferatu to help you. It makes a lot of sense to diablerize your way out of being a shitty Thinblood, Nosferatu or not.

Maybe your character is better at navigating sewers, killing giant rats and spotting blurry figures than they are at working their way through highrise buildings, dusty basements or shady motorcycle garages. Could be useful to do what you're good at if you're picking a bloodhunt target.
