These kinds of games always look fun to me, but I just end up bored after a few hours. It's happened with Minecraft and Terraria for me. I think the mechanics are fun, but I just can't get more into them, and I really want to be. If I get this will 3rd time be the charm? Or are these games just not for me?

if i buy the physical game, id have to import it from JP, so an additional $40 for shipping or some shit. digital downloads are best for JP games.
in addition, it was about $90 when it first came out, even on amazon.

It has a plot and goals. It's not about just doing whatever, your creativity is only in regards to the town you want to build and its defenses.
There's a Minecraft style do anything mode but it's not nearly as fun imo.
