never heard of them

you never heard of the best rpg ever made?

Dragon quest 11?

It's probably the least bad of an ocean of bad options for a buyout. But it's still bad.

Which Dragon Quest is the best? I've heard people say 5

Not the worst thing ever, but it's nice to know Gothic went to a home where someone might take care of it.
>They just released a 2nd DLC for Titan Quest

THQ will probably be bought by Disney.

>But it's still bad.
How is this bad at all?

these guys are literally making expansions for a game from 2006 which was dead for like a decade

hopefully they allow PB to make good games.

>buying eurojank developer
Have they gone mad?

They already own Eurojank properties like Kingdom Come Deliverance.

When are these fuckers releasing Biomutant?

E3

you sunk my battleship
now when's the date?

I prefer 4 but 5 is great too

Can someone explain how does THQ gets all this money to buy so many licenses and studios?
Are they banked by Putin or something?

Not suprised they bought the studio who made one of the best RPGs ever made. THQ Nordic is legit based as hell.

they did fund elex so it's not a big surprise

Because youre not eastern euroblock.

They will be when they release the Timesplitters remasters.

I'd guess they're not confident enough to release it during the holiday season or in June right after E3, so if it's coming this year, then probably in August~October

The press release makes it sound like they want the studio to grow. Not trying to, and sticking to their niche was the only reason they even survived for this long. Remember that time they were set up to compete with Bethesda? That sure went well.

You're thinking of Wizardry 8

They bought so many licences that they make enough profit off of those licenses so they can buy more licences

Persona 4 Golden?

Dragon Quest 8, if you are a Dragonball Z fan.

Man, just how many fucking IPs does THQ Nordic own at this point? They're buying rights left and right like there's no tomorrow. How can they even afford this? Wasn't THQ going bankrupt some years ago?

Where's my Elex 2? Didn't they say they have made enough money to make a second one?

Yeah, THQ went bankrupt. And Nordic bought them for the brand recognition and rebranded themselves THQ Nordic.

Koch Media AG or whatever their name is bought the name and a few IPs from THQ. Koch Media AG also owns Focus Interactive. So they are basically the kings of AA eurojank.

It takes fucking time? Why would you want a rush job?

They started development before Elex was even released.

When will they buy the Tribes a franchise?

We're at the end of a 10-year old economic cycle that started in March 2009

There's always a lot of acquisitions and IPOs near the end, just before the crash.

From the press release:
>Q: What about ELEX 2?
>A: Semi-official comment: Have a guess.

They already confirmed a new Destroy All Humans during the 8ch ama. I am hype.

5 and 7 are the ones people say. 5 is the best out of the 4,5 and 6 "trilogy", although it's fair to prefer 6 too.

They acquired the rights to timesplitters more than a year ago and nothing has come out of it, not even the hint of an announcement. Don't get your hopes up.

a game younger than 10 years cant be called "best"

They're all really good and have their own strengths, but the overall best is probably 5.

>Rune Ragnarök is EGS exclusive
>Now this
