Also it has by far the best Bethesda map to date. Too bad the worldbuilding was hurt by the lack of NPCs.

It's horse armor for Fallout. I don't think it was ever meant to be a serious thing but people were dumber than anyone expected and bought it.

Appalachia is the most interesting Wasteland but literally everything else about the game is shit

Yes it easily is. Better map, better dungeons, more varied weapons, no mind-numbingly boring bethesda """story""" you're required to deal with.

In a lot of ways it is better than 4- if it weren't so buggy I could see an argument for 76 replacing 4. It has a better map than 3 but that's about it.

Please do not pretend that Fallout 3 is a fun game in any capacity. Nothing about it is good.

In fairness I played it during release when it was actually MORE stable. As soon as people starting duplicating more items than the servers can track, everything broke. I had one solid week of fun in 76, and then everything went to shit. If they miraculously stabilized the game I'd actually consider getting back into it and making a new character.
Like I said, the map is really fucking good.

That just means 76 is even worse than that

I never said it was better than 3, just that I could see someone replacing 4 with it. It makes sense: 4's story and quests suck, so cut it out entirely and replace it with a slightly more dynamic perk system and better dungeons/exploration. Problem is 76 comes with too much other baggage right now to even make that worthwhile.

But it's most definitely not. There's nothing 76 does that 3 does better. If I'm wrong then try and name one thing.

I kinda liked it whenever I had a friend to play with. It just felt like I was playing 4 without the ridiculous amount of raiders and Bethesda-written npcs.

I'll stick with 4

Story and dialogue in 3 were garbage through and through. And I'd rather have nothing in place of garbage. Nevermind the fact that 76 isn't even aiming to be a talky rpg.
The exchangeable perk card system is better for an MMO so people don't have to go crazy with minmaxing.
Quests is a big maybe. None of 3's quests were particularly memorable to me. 76 has pretty simple quests too though.
