Cuphead, kinda want to get back into either XC2 or Chocobo soon.
I bought mine for Odyssey. Didn't really enjoy it. Played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which was alright. Haven't touched it since. At this point the only reason I haven't sold it is the faint hope of a Xenoblade Chronicles X port.
What are you here for

portable versions of countless great titles, including shmups that haven't been available since the PS2 (and don't emulate properly)
I'm seriously waiting for CTR to play a ton of online then I'm probably hacking it for free games.
My man. How do you like it, user?
To let switchlets and nincels know they arent welcome on Yea Forums where the actual ADULTS post.
Grow up before posting again kiddo.
Who?
I’m not. I bought Yoshi back in March and got bored halfway through 100%ing it. I haven’t picked it back up in nearly 2 months
Recommend me a console and some games, then.
It was a boring fucking game, what did you expect? I'm still not done with it and may never be unless I want to veg out completely for a few hours.
I switched to watch anime, videogames these days are horseshit
I shouldn’t have to baby you, kiddo. Look it up yourself.
It has a fantastic OST in general. Palma theme is so nostalgic, and having a portable version on a bigger screen with automap is a game changer.
That’s what I thought. You don’t have a single game to recommend. You just come here and shit post to help ease your crippling depression. You’ve lost at life, user.
>he has zero actual argument
Like clockwork
what are some must have eshop games Yea Forums? I got a micro sd 128gb coming tomorrow from amazon and need some vidya. I like any games so feel free to tell me. I love RPGs.
>automap
>change the encounter rate so it's not aids
>increase money/exp gain so you don't spend hours grinding
I'm not gonna lie, I never beat the original version. But I did this one.
Every song is good, I'd argue the basic dungeon and the title themes are the most memorable

Whos the child now user?
Bingo.
Now that that man child is gone...
When’s Astral Chain’s gameplay debut? E3?
Probably. It looks like it's coming out this year. You think there will be any surprise announcements this e3 or just shit we already know about?
Autism child was probably fpwp too
I don't understand what people see in Astral Chain or Daemon X Machina. Can anons explain?
Ages mode is a good addition too, but I've been playing in original. It still has the automap, but I find the gradual climb relaxing. It's nice to switch off (no pun intended) and do some leveling while listening to a podcast. I've played through it once years ago, and entering caves required way more attention since you were pretty much forced to pull out graph paper. Still a great experience, but the ages version is perfect as a handheld experience. IMO it's aged well enough for anyone here to try.

May as well discuss it here among friends. I can't say I'd be disappointed of it were just more info on shit we already know about but I like the special reveals when it comes to e3. Maybe we'll get more info on Town so I can stop caring about it.
Waiting for Ace Attorney and Katamari to come from Japan. Getting spirits in Smash, playing BOXBOY with gf, slowly starting one friend on MHGU so we can hunt together.
stardew valley
I got it last night on sale. Haven’t played Minecraft in a couple of years. Has there been a lot of new things added since then?
People say the sound quality for Dark Souls is terrible. Opinion?
I don’t know, but I sure hope. New title? Pikmin 3 seems likely. Otherwise, we’ll probably only see ports from Wii U again - which isn’t a horrible outcome IMO.
I like the gameplay of action games made by Platinum. They’re just fun! I haven’t heard much of the story, so from that aspect, not sure if it’ll be worth a shit. But I sure do love Bayo and other platinum titles.
DXM? No clue. Doesn’t look good.

>Waiting for Ace Attorney to come from Japan
The trilogy? If so, why not the English one?
fucking based Sonychad putting seething nincels in their place
God I love Sony, feels so good to be on the correct side of history.
oh yeah so much shit. Feels like a lot is unnecessary but I'm still having fun
Is there much stuff to do singleplayer wise?
Game runs fine and all, but the sound quality is indeed terrible
>Haven't touched it since.
Two years. For two years we've seen people post this shit. Same with Wii U, Vita, whatever other meme they can. I always want to ask - why not just sell it then? It's not the console's or Nintendo's fault that it got dusty, when everyone else has something to play - it just makes you seem like a fucking idiot, who not only has shit taste in games, but also spends his money on something he doesn't like, and then proceeds to act like a child and avoid responsibility.
Starlink and mercenary saga chronicles
It has a physical English release on Switch? The Jap one has all three on a single cart, with an English language option, and I heard it was digital only everywhere outside Japan.
Pikmin would be hype, Pikmin 4 would be board shattering. I'm surprised we haven't gotten a wind waker port yet or any news on a new Zelda (that isn't the LA remake), I feel like it's overdue.
There are a lot of third party devs and internal teams that have been silent for a while so it seems like they're gearing up for a lot of big reveals. Fuck, I just want a release date on the grandia port.
It really doesn't. It looks worse than the 3ds games.
I think good things are coming. I just hope Nintendo makes games that aren’t so damn easy. Take a page from Rare’s book.

How is it? The concept is right up my alley but ubisoft toronto is a huge red flag
Capcom Beat em up Bundle is $11.99 on the eshop right now so I've been playing that.
I don't feel much motivated to play my Switch.
Online games don't work because of my Nat type and I'm not a big fan of the ergonomics.
Waiting for a revision, hopefully it makes it smaller and feel more like the VITA.
I'm really bummed out I can't play Splatoon 2, Smash, MK8 and such online.
Nevermind. The psychical one is only japan
Depends how creative you are. Getting to the end and beating the final boss will take you quite a while, but that's still barely scratching the surface if you get into building. There are tons of new blocks compared to a few years ago (lots of new stone and wood types especially), so you can get more creative with houses and structures.
honestly screenshots often look weird on games and then the game looks good in motion. in any case the only bad thing i can see here is graphical, the game still looks good.
This. Crash looks weird in still frames but great in motion.
>Yea Forums
>adults
Excellent kek, user
I thought I was the only one that noticed that.
Screenshots look like ass
Motion looks amazing
Not really. It looks about as well as PS3-era games, nothing amazing, personally I'd go for a way different style of showing battles, like VC4 or something, whatever they're trying to do here just doesn't look that good.
It's not that great. The only reason I bought it is because it's the only latest portable console in the video game industry. Initially I thought it was great seeing that I can now hold a handheld console that's more powerful than the PS2 but problems arise such as shitty controls, ghost movements on Joycons, drought of games, battery life, having the worst Pro controller out of every Nintendo console, laggy e-Shop and laggy connection in general etc.
I hope Nintendo reveals an even more powerful iteration model of Switch next year, otherwise the potential of this console is a huge waste
Just stop, you're laughable with some of your negatives.
RE4.
Never played it which I'm sure is shocking for all of you.
It's pretty damn good but gyro controls would've made it kino. Maybe if enough people bitch about it they'll patch it.
He is mostly right though
The Pro d-pad doesn't work
Joycon sticks keep drifting
The consoles themselves warp for no reason
The design is full of flaws
Stop replying to him you idiots. He’s only here because you all keep feeding him.
Hacked my switch last night, got Shakedown, Okkami, and Darkwood. thinking of getting The Messenger as well, looks real nice. Haven’t tried retroarch yet. What’s a good place to get roms? Emuparadise went to shit for psp and gba.
If the switch keeps getting so much love in homebree scene it’s going to become the goat handheld. Attached is my current hoard, plus a n3ds xl that’s charging off photo
is fantasy life on the switch?
that game was fucking awesome
>there are games on it
>games don't count
What is your logic here?
Only thing I can agree is the Joy-con drift, everything else I'm entirely fine with. Seriously, the warping meme is still around, when it was something that happened to a single guy on Reddit?
I played Hollow Knight for 60 hours and now everything feels boring and shitty in comparison.
Wish they'd just announce the fucking Xenoblade X sequel or deny its existence so I could shit or get off the pot with a Switch.
How could someone who is biologically and mentally mature genuinely enjoy this shitty console and games made for CHILDREN and grim inferior late 2000's tier graphics?
Could you say,as an adult, "I play Nintendo games" with straight face?
If you are an adult past 20+ and own Nintendo, congratulations, you failed at life. I can't believe this disgraceful manchildrens are encouraged by many people instead of abashed and forced into having adult hobbies like they should be.
Not the other guy.
While I don't want to claim your problems aren't valid I have to add I'm not experiencing any of the problems you listed. I think my joycons actually ghosted one time but I never experienced that problem.
The only real negative I have with the console is that Nintendo once again is far behind when it comes to third party support and many of the ports it's gotten recently are pretty hackneyed. But honestly I'm fine playing indie stuff and actually appreciate the ports since until very recently I used to be in a strict family who would only allow 4 games a year before moving out.
My Switch is warped, and my Joycons drift and the Pro controller d-pad registers false inputs
I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise, I know this is Yea Forums so I understand the precation though
At the moment I’m playing Blaster Master Zero 1 and I’m about to get the good ending. Got Team Sonic Racing and it’s fun. Also help me anons, how’s the Doom 2016 port?
You're fine with how shitty the Switch Pro Controller's D-Pad is and how shitty Nintendo Online is? And 3-4 hours of battery life is a fucking joke, if Nintendo can't implement a fast charging technology for the Switch then they should just stick to home consoles instead.
>X sequel
And here i am, hoping for a port
>children children children children
More children probably plays GTA 5, RDR 2, or Call of Duty than Nintendo games.
Don't really the point of a port unless they add some QoL changes, especially since running on Cemu is objectively superior at this point.
Bet they are, and probably you never returned them for fixing, and on top of that Miyamoto called you a faggot?
In your dreams maybe, manbaby.
When do you get a job?
I never play for more than 4 hours, can't remember when was the last time Switch died on me, and I go often enough to cons and shit.
D-pad on pro, never heard it was an issue for anyone, for me as far as it goes it's a perfect controller. I guess somehow I can't have a different opinion than you?
And what's shitty about Nintendo Online - the price is low, and in Europe most of us laugh at Americans saying online is shit in Smash, when 30 Mbit speeds are "fast" for you. My Switch is connected, but even with wi-fi or through a fucking phone hotspot, I literally never had any problems in S2 or Smash. I seriously had more problems on Wii U than here.
Baba is You
With FF9 on hold
And FFXII waiting in the wings
What i meant is that i didn't think they were going to make a sequel
>Cemu is objectively superior at this point.
That might be true, but Cemu isn't official and nobody bought a Wii U. I don't think a port is a bad idea, the game was surprisingly good and it doesn't take a powerhouse to run it. a 30-40$ port would sell well and probably get more people exited for a sequel.
>30-40$ port
Friendly reminder the Resident Evil port package was full price, let alone an actually recent and long game like XCX.
D-Pad's right button doesn't respond properly when pressed. I have an old model but Nintendo probably fixed it so maybe you aren't experiencing any problem, but still I spent a couple of bucks just for this shitty expensive controller only to realize that I can't properly use the D-Pad.
I don't know about America, Europe, or Japan but these region always has the best internet connections available. We live outside these regions and get Jack shit where online play is fucking unplayable because it just keeps disconnecting despite the pristine connections available.

Yep, its bad. Still love the game, but they went cheap with audio
How's Phantasy Star IV on the sega collection?
Do you have to grind/encounter every 3 steps in that game or did they add some QoL like PS I Ages?
Holy fuck Shovel Knight is such a good game, but I hate the DLCs.
Yeah weird they didnt put them in. Literally in my top 5 favorite games of all time tho, enjoy user
Is it really as good as this is making it seem? I was totally uninterested in anything except for welsh cat porn until now. Tell me more of this autistic fever dream.
I recently started Ys VIII, and I really like it. It's like all the good parts of Final Fantasy without all the misguided experiments.
Played Clu Clu Land for the first time last night and it's pretty fun. People say they should reboot Ice Climber, but a small eShop Clu Clu Land reboot would work way better I think
it's pretty good, worth a buy
.hack//GU Last Recode port and .hack IMOQ collection fucking when
I will literally choke on Bamco dick for this
Ill actually enjoying mhgu. I thought it would feel to similar to tri but the arts really helps. Probly more stable than wii us tri framerate too idk
idk what to play :(
I really hope you take the time to collect every single physical title available. Nothing wrong with collecting, but if you're not even going for the full set...
Hollow knight is a shit game desu, honestly.
The gameplay sucks but it's a fucking Skinner box of quests and anime garbage. It's like an mmo with Crunchyroll streaming in the background.
Literally nothing because I have a PC, memebox and playstation. Switch is for exclusives only, waiting on Luigi's mansion 3. Thinking about seeling my switch and buying the better one when it drops.
Or just hack your switch
Inb4 no gaems
I've already gotten every game I want on Switch.
BOTW
Smash
Odyessy which was shit
I havent owned a console since the PS2/XBOX days but my friend just bought me one for my birthday. What games should I get?
Odyssey was a letdown compared to galaxy. Can’t figure out how they went backwards like that. The boss battles and those chase sequences were the biggest insult to injury I’ve ever seen. I’ve yet to get past the first divine beats in botw and that was a year ago. I’m using the switch for ports of games I’ve missed out on before or that translate perfectly to a handheld device. Goddamn I’m loving katana zero and shekadown Miami. Beat cop was pretty good too and Okkami is goat
I guess the Seiken Densetsu Collection is never ever.
I'm playing that mario wii u game, super U or some shit? I had more fun with donkey kong.
Yea DKCR and tropical freeze are considerably better than the modern 2D mario platformers
I played the demo of DXM and it was fun, it’s basically anime armored core with more dialogue and a character customization where you can augment yourself and cut off all your limbs to make room for robotic ones. It’s really cool modding not only your mech but your own body as well.
I love Platinum but haven’t seen much on Astral Chain, looks cool.
Yeah exactly it was big let down from in my opinion any of the 3d Mario games. It could just be they made it easier or I'm getting older but even the start locations were so easy to find and feel that hat made the game too easy.
As for BOTW I really dont like the weapon system, beyond that i thought it was really good except for the ubisoft esque towers.
I’m playing Sundered, it’s pretty good though I’m stuck on the Cathedral boss
Hopefully the next Mario pushes the envelope more. Sunshine and galaxy were so good with such unique mechanics that needed to be used to complete the game. I feel the hat failed to hit the mark in the same way. Some of the mechanics were interesting but noting on the same level as the other games. The dioramas also were not as interesting to visit or explore. I can’t think of a single one that stood out to me
>720p in current year™
All those games, yet they're displayed on a hideous display rack.
Embarrassing!
Maybe sooner than later since Harada is now the boss. Hoping for a Xenosaga trilogy port too
What games should I play while I backpack Europe Yea Forums?
Currently it’s just an indie port machine.
Indies
Bloodstained and Mario+Rabbids
Don't get raped by those peaceful refugees in that total shit hole that is Europe is now
>Hopefully the next Mario pushes the envelope more
the waiting game
this first half of 2019 has been literally nothing
Finally caved in and got a Switch to play Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate. I have actually already played about 200 hours of Monster Hunter XX with an English translation patch on Citra emulator, but the input lag, horrendous framepacing and 5:3 aspect ratio were all mad frustrating.
Playing MHGU on Switch just feels so much better. The controls felt significantly more responsive and the framepacing that plagued the emulation version was just about non-existent. Both MHXX on Citra and MHGU on Switch run at a solid 30fps, but the latter is buttery smooth. And having an actual widescreen aspect ratio means that I have more visibility during fights.
Now all I need to do is figure out how to download the DLCs, because the Switch I got was used and already has been jailbreaked and filled with like 30 other games. I also need to figure out a way to transfer my Citra save file or use some kind of save editor, because I don't want to have to redo the 200 hours I spent trying to get to G-rank. Anyone here have any ideas or pointers?
On a DQ Builder kick. Hyped for 2 coming soon

Not really into multiplayer stuff.
I did own it for a while, but I sold it since I was stuck playing with randoms (and switch has no voice chat). As a result it felt like teamplay potential was much lower than other online multiplayer games and I burned out around 50 hours in. I got almost full money back and got Tropical Freeze instead.
>and don't emulate properly
Yeah they do. If you don't have a shit ass PC.
Castlevania collection
I have an i7 and a 1070, I'm not talking about my PC being unable to handle PCSX2. Some of the shmups available through rereleases are unplayable on it, so it's either rely on sketchy saturn emulation or just spend £5 and be good to go with portable tate mode on switch.
>gyro controls would've made it kino
Play the Wii version.
Kemono Friends Picross. Perfect distillation of things I enjoy
Golf Story
Pretty sure you can't transfer your file since it's from the japanese game.
>PCSX2
Why the fuck would you emulate the PS2 versions of the games?
You don't fucking do that. You emulate the actual arcade versions on MAME you dipshit.
Also you need a really high-end top of the line CPU if you wanna emulate arcade games properly with frame delay set to high values(to reduce input lag)
Go back to making drinks Ben
Thanks, but golf doesn't really sound appealing to me right now.
Plot is full Shonen and it isn't perfect. Gameplay itself goes from 6/10 to 9/10 in the last ten hours. IF you love (and I mean love) JRPGs it is a must buy but I would never recommend it to strangers because it misses the mark in a lot of areas
Dragon's Dogma is all I've been playing for the last month.
Undertale for the first time. Just got the true pacifist ending. Last fight was so epic
I work as a janitor with lots of free time and nothing to play. Smash pisses me off with shitty joy cons. What should I play? I have Splatoon but no friends to play with

I LOVE MY SWITCH
Banjo-Kazooie
Octopath? Jrpgs are good time sinks and the controls are irrelevant
What are those three black cases on the bottom left?
I beat that game already but that is a good idea. I should probably play something more casual. I’d rather play a more fast paced game on a tv at home
That's a great friend you have, user. I hope you let him know you appreciate him.
I got Project Highrise on someone's recommendation here yesterday, it seems pretty neat, though it feels like it's missing something from the Sim Tower formula. I need to stop resetting my game though every time I make a dumb building decision.
Just bought a Switch. That airvent on the top right of my console scares me. How do I prevent dust build-up on that?
Use the switch from time to time and clean your room unlike your normal Yea Forums degenerate?
I've had mine since launch and the vent looks pretty clean still, and I've never heard of anybody complaining about dust build up. Chill out.
fpbp
What games do you like?
Dust buildup won't be an issue for at least a few years of frequent use- it's not as powerful as a PC fan so it won't be drawing in anywhere near as much air. Even if it does become a problem, it's not too hard to take off the backplate and use a can of compressed air to clean it out.
You literally can't own that many unique Switch games without a good portion being shovelware. Congrats on being a cancer to the industry rather than helping it improve I guess?
How's the port?
Is it letterboxed with shit frame rate?
