Just bought pic related for 25 dollars. Just done hacking it. What games would you suggest to play?

>big slab of plastic with screens on it
i remember when this first came out and everyone though it was an eyesore and far less portible cause no closable screen.

Rune Factory 4.

Anything SMT, an Etrian Odyssey game (4 is a good introduction), Phoenix Wright, Rhythm Heaven, WarioWare, Fire Emblem, Dragon Quest, Radiant Historia, Alliance Alive, any Zelda game except Triforce Heroes.

I did the same thing, now it just collects dust because there are no good games for it. Wasted 55 bucks on this retarded thing.

2DS is CUTE!

Yo-kai Watch 2 and 3 are pretty good.

what genre do you prefer?

Etrian Odyssey
Monster Hunter 4U
SMT: Soul Hackers if you like 90s hacker aesthetic
SMT IV and IV:A are pretty good if you can get over anime tier writing

DS:
Ghost Trick
Knights in the Nightmare
Trauma Center
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 1/2 (Go check out the ost and if you like it, you'll like the game. Elite Beat Agents is the same game but westernized)
Lost Magic
Feel The Magic XX/XY + The Rub Rabbits

If you like VNs, absolutely be sure to check out Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors. Has two sequels if you get into it. Also has a great OST in context.

Why would you buy something you can't overclock?

I thought the 3DS librarys were shut down?

I sold mine, it hurt my hands to play for extended periods of time

t. handlet

You made a bad purchase

But I have N3DSXL

Do you hold it weird? Like are you trying to claw grip it? Different user, but I thought it was pretty comfortable to hold.

same, 3DS ergonomics are shit. anyway

Crimson Shroud
Crush 3D
Culdcept Revolt
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D
Shinobi

Nope, I didn't play MH on it so never used the claw grip. Always got pain at the bottom of my hands close to the wrist. I think it's the angle you have to hold it or something.
Wouldn't mind trying out a regular N3DS to see if it's any better.

I pretty much play everything, but tend to focus on gameplay heavy games and action platformers.
I bought this as a portable console mainly for playing during long travels. I already installed Shovel Knight, MHG, DK Country, Terraria and a couple of Prof. Layton Games.
Thx for your suggestions user
I sold my 3DS a few years ago for the exact same reason, but actually because it was too small and it was uncomfortable to hold for more than 20/30 minutes. I'm loving the 2DS design, fits perfectly in my relatively big hands.

Do those controller-like handles help with this? I have some 3DS games (YW3, Tales of and some eShop stuff) to play but this is keeping me from it.

If it feels good enough I might even get Animal Crossing or MK7, why the hell not.

My fucking nigga
Completely underrated. Such a good game.

fucking amazing game

>not just downloading the CIAs manually

What are you doing you freeshop-depedent retard?

im gonna steal one without alarm today in a shitty department store

wish me luck anons

we dont deserve this game

This makes me hyped to play it, good.

>amazing game with tons of content. >You can't argue about the in / v / without the poketards appearing out of nowhere

I do not recommend hacking or editing it, it can be illegal. In addition, where do you legally play games? You buy a couple of classics like Layton and Inazuma. Someone who knows better can probably negotiate on rare classics.

Well you should have gotten the N2DS XL instead

Is yokai actually that good? I played that demo and i thought it had shit gameplay

You got a good deal op.
Kid Icarus, Link Between Worlds and Yokai watch 3 are my picks

Most Mario games 2bh. Even Mario kart is fun

Attached: sighborg.jpg (480x360, 22K)

It's great

Attached: komajiro.jpg (355x355, 14K)

the first 2 have a wheel to rotate your team while 3 changes it into a 3x3 grid where you can manage placement of your yokai and swap them out individually while you battle it also takes the Blasters sidegame formula introduced in 2 and refined through their own spinoff game and turns it into a fun dungeon crawler with a ton of stupidly broken loot.

Every megaten you should probably start with SMT4 or DeSu overclocked

Install some DS games too!
I mainly use it as an emulation machine, it can run every nintendo handheld. But there's some good games as well. Besides what you already mentioned, Shantae, Dragon Quest 8, vvvvvv, All Zelda games (Four Swords Anniversary for the DS has single player!), etc. The 3ds is mainly a JRPG machine.

>What games would you suggest to play?
many

Q
youtu.be/HXFhc9mXSC0

Resident Evil Revelations, Kid Icarus Uprising, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Yokai Watch 2, 3 and Busters

for ds games i recommend Yugioh world championship 2011, The world ends with you, Pokemon platinum, kirby super star ultra and chrono trigger ds

There are some solid VC injectors that allow you to play Turbografix, Game Gear, Famicom disk, game boy/color/advance, snes, nes and genesis games.
I managed to get Rondo of Blood working on it and it plays nicely.

Is comfy to hold? I've been thinking about getting one. As for games, the list posted by covers a lot of them. I would personally recommend:
>LBX: Little Battlers eXperience
Action-RPG where you use fully customizable miniature robots to fight.
>Fantasy Life
Comfy, "portable offline MMO", if that makes any sense.

Holy fuck, is it that good? I haven't touched the Yo-kai Watch series yet because I'm finishing a few others. Should I start with the first game or jump straight to the third one? What about that action-rpg spin-off? Looks good too.

if you don't have a switch, I hear the 3ds version of Hyrule Warriors is fantastic. There's also Fire Emblem Warriors too. Also can't go wrong with Xenoblade Chonicles.

I've only played Rondo via Dracula X Chronicles. Is the original good?

I don't know who told you the 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors is fantastic but they must have been dropped on their head as a child.
That game looks and runs like dogshit on 3DS. It's a bit better on New 3DS,but still not what I would call fantastic.

games run better on the new 3ds? I thought that shit was just marketing the new 3d head tracking gimmick.

The first one is playable but very rough, suffers heavily from first game syndrome and gets almost completely retconned as early as 2's opening cutscene. It's fine to start with 3, you won't really miss anything important storywise aside from 1 or 2 postgame sidequests. I actually recommend starting with 2 just to see how much 3 improved the formula.

It's a little more powerful than the original 3DS.
I'm not gonna pretend like I know all the details but I think it has a better processor and maybe some other stuff?
I don't think it's a massive difference or anything but when they announced it they showed Smash loading a bit faster compared to the original 3DS.

I have never seen in all that I have been playing a game with so much content. I can not even begin to imagine if someone has been able to pass it to 100%. One of the "mini-games" is literally a game in itself. As if the whole Mystery Dungeon was a secondary Pokémon mission with online cooperative even above. level 5 wtf

As far as I know, only "N3DS enhanced games" run better. DK3D for example (that runs at 30 fps with some major slowdowns when compare to the 60 fps wii version) will play the same on a N3DS. Aside from the ZL/ZR/C-Stick support, a few games will have improved frame rate and faster load times, such as Smash, Pkmn Gen VII, Monster Hunter and Hyrule Warriors. If you don't plan on playing these games, an o3DS will do just fine. Get a CPP if you want to play RE:Revelations tho.

Far better in terms of music, gameplay and graphics. Although Dracula X is generally similar.
Playing Rondo recently made me think of it more like a modern indie title (like shovel Knight) than a 90s sidescroller.

And playing Rondo recently made me think about you.
