While Kojima makes movies (almost loterally, 70 minute cutscenes) his games ALWAYS have gameplay, they are never walking simulators and usually stealth action.

The gameplay is so simplistic that it's just an excuse for padding between the anime cringe and one-off gimmicks. It's obvious that he doesn't want to make games but movies but his incompetence in the latter forced him to attempt the former. Fortunately for him his trash found an audience of "people" even dumber than he is, who will ignore the fact that the main gameplay is from 1988 just because one boss read out loud their PS1 memory card or a bourbon glass had ice cubes that decrease in size.
