The SP damage isnt white damage but rather from the employee's mental fortitude taking a heavy blow just from seeing the thing.

CENSORED deals black damage. If you dont want employees going insane, you want them geared with high black resist.

Definitely becomes easy when you get Smiling Bodies' suit. Get a maxed out SP character and you're good to go, granted that they have a high temperance value to get better success rates.

I've only had the guy escape once, it's surprisingly disturbing. He takes hardly any damage from anything except for pale, which he takes normal damage from. Point being: You don't want him escaping, and sometimes sacrificing a (hopefully) clerk can mean the difference between a game lost and won.

Im just grinding stats every day on all my dudes. Im at day 7 or something. Is this the right way to play? I tried it without and got butchered and kept losing people left and right. Is it best to level all skills to max on all guys?

It's a waste of time. Only max out a few guys. When you get higher abnormalities the grinding will get faster.

It's okay to grind like one extra qlipoth meter, but anything above that will be reduntant because eventually you will be getting higher tier abs that raise your stats faster. Your blunders were most likely because you worked wrong, not because you had low stats.

A bit of grinding is fine, just don't stress yourself by trying to max them immediately.
You'll just waste time if you're grinding on the beginner abnormalities, once you've got your first few HE or WAW your stats will skyrocket and once you've done certain missions grinding will become a non issue anyway.
Also one or two big dick wageslaves per department are good enough, the rest can and should be expendable.

Your first run is for learning the game and its principles. No need to try 100% it yet. The game is build on reruns: when you restart you get to keep all the research and equipments making it easier and faster to catch up. Once you start clearing bosses, their rewards will make reruns even smoother.

What about not listening to vee and playing at your pace?
However, I also think that manning up and not restarting unless it's actually straight up non recoverable is the best course as well.

It depends a lot on the RNG. If you cant make through the day without losing high tier gear, you should consider restarting.

I spend most of the time zoomed out all the way so it's practically no effect at all.

I'm currently nearing %100, not long left.It's not that the game is short or doesnt have content, but I feel it just goes to lol boss mode when you finally have your tools ready
Hell, a last ''double'' department like central being added to the end with more abnormalities in an expansion pack or something would be rad

as amazing as the gameplay can be, they decided to have it relate to the story more than anything, so it wouldn't have made sense to get something like that. more abnormalities would be nice, yes, but I'm just glad they managed to release the game in the first place

Oh sure, them being a small group of korean friends who also gathered few outsiders for concept work make this game sound something like a miracle, but then again I'm assuming it did well enough with the sequel and all.I just hope they dont ditch the lobcorp gameplay entirely and either support the first game or release one like this later on too.

In my opinion 50 days is just right. It's not like the difficulty would increase, by the time you reach day 45 you have enough aleph gear and EX agents to handle anything, having more abnormalities to manage wouldn't make it harder just more time-consuming.
