How come sonybros only complete rpg babyshit?

congratulations faggot

you are a tryharder faggot

Street Fighter 4

Any online game that requies MP trophies that either deal with:
1) Ranking
2) Some competitive play (League Play in Blops 2)

not hard

Gran Turismo Sport has a 0.1% platinum rate because you're required to get 91 wins in Sport mode. I imagine less than half the players have even a single win given how hard the multiplayer is.

imagine how hard is to have two playstations and two games

>RDR1
>score first in four games in a row online
I hate this shit.

Imagine buying two playstations, two Plus accounts, and two copies of the worst Gran Turismo to date for cheevo autism

Never played Lost Planet but it sounds like it must be pretty hard to get a 9.11/10 difficulty rating. Sounds like it's Lost Planet and White Knight Chronicles tier bullshit.

Hardest one I have would probably be Yakuza Kiwami. I had four different people sending me messages on PSN for tips the day after I got it. I even played Mahjong for a guy over shareplay since I found myself enjoying it once I learned what the fuck I was supposed to do.

Attached: trophies.jpg (1410x5988, 1.96M)

Demon's souls has an upgrade material called pure bladestone that only drops from a singular very dangerous enemy with a drop rate of 0.5%. Players will general stack drop rate bullshit and grind this ONE enemy 100-200 times just for the chance of getting phre bladestone.

>Sounds like it's Lost Planet and White Knight Chronicles tier bullshit.
Meant to say "Star Ocean and White Knight Chronicles"

>the worst Gran Turismo to date
Why is it so bad?

I got it and it only took an hour of grinding the black skeleton. It's way overblown.

super meaty boy

Is it even possible to get the White Knight Chronicles plat these days? If I remember properly there's online-only trophies.

Still not as bad as the original Nier. That's like the requirement for almost every single weapon to reach level 4.

i remember just dance on xbox having some retarded time of day based achievments

>I got it and it only took an hour of grinding the black skeleton. It's way overblown.
>le works on my machine! xD

no, fuck you. A friend and I spent almost 2 days straight grinding for it until we finally cracked and I had him message someone on Gamefaqs to "invade" and drop a pure bladestone, which we then duped a bunch of times with the duplication exploit.

Finding it in just one hour is extremely lucky.

It's not bad. People just don't like the focus on multiplayer over singleplayer, which is fair. They also complain about GT Sport having 200ish cars instead of 1000ish cars, but forget that most of those were repeats and many of them were ugly ports from previous games
>1992 Miata
>1994 Miata
>1996 Miata

Fighting games except Soul Calibur.
Injustice is pretty stupid, even when I got the "do a comeback while you have less than 10% and your opponent more than 90%" one

It's still doable, if you have that much time to spare.

Literally farm BP Black Skeletons you retarded faguette

trueachievements.com/a11104/with-friends-like-these-achievement

Tf2 achievement on the 360 which required 7 friends in the same game, out of a maximum of 16. If you didn't get it within the first year or so, your options were very limited.

>600+
Jesus Christ. Is this worse than Til the End of Time? It doesn't help that WKC sucks absolute ass, either.

Charlie Murder, a punk rock beat em up by the guys behind dishwasher samurai had a cheevo for getting every legendary item. One of which was bugged and never spawned, I don't know if they ever fixed it

fags are boosting that achievement every other day

>Yakuza Kiwami
Was about to post this. I even did the secret fight and all of the Haruka challenges, but I can't do all those mini games

It was higher until everyone started getting the trophies for MGS2, Arkham City, Raging Blast 2, and Birth By Sleep.

At least I don't have to worry about anyone ruining my Disgaea trophies. Only a few dedicated autists will grind enough to get those ones.

They fucked over the save system and made it online-only to make the game compliant with some autistic sim community's scorekeeping.

I can't ever imagine playing a videogame for trophies. Usually I just beat them and play them however I want.

>psnprofiles
That site is run by a cadre of absolute fucking autists. They apparently sit around digging through random people's profiles and banning them from their ridiculous leader boards based on completely arbitrary bullshit, then basically put you on trial in the forums if you want to appeal. You know, for fucking trophies. Trophies that bug out, glitch, etc. Oh and for some reason they give Hakoom a pass despite him being an obvious cheater by pretty much every metric they claim to care about. And again, over trophies.

Do I win?

Attached: grawww.png (641x296, 58K)

Yakuza 5

Isn't there a requirement to rank #1 in the world? That's insane.

>It's way overblown.
I gained 200 soul levels just trying to get mine before it finally dropped. It's not overblown, you were just exceptionally lucky.

Does PlayStation have anything similar to this? It takes thousands of hours to get all 3 achievements

Attached: GRAWWWWWW.png (1294x539, 139K)

What's above UR?

Yes, see
3 SEPARATE LEADERBOARDS.

You were just exceptionally unlucky.

Devil may cry 2 fuck the bloody palace is so fucking shit and i can't use the cheat for infinite devil trigger because i got the shitty version who don't have it

At this point I'd say Doom 2016 purely because of the online trophies, I don't play online, and no one is ever on there if I wanted to anyway. I really wanted to get the platinum.

Attached: FuckingMultiplayerTrophies.png (476x411, 12K)

>I even played Mahjong for a guy over shareplay
That is sad.

You might as well give it a shot if you already did all of that.

Hardest bullshit I had to do was that fucking haruka challenge against the pool master. I spent hours and hours raging and screaming at the screen because of the absolute perfection the AI has when making shots. Even the karaoke challenge only took me about 10 tires max against the hardest song.

The only hard part about the minigames is getting past the cultural barrier and learning how to play them. I still can't figure out shogi, and had to download a shogi app which I used to mirror my opponents moves against the master ai setting, and then used the ai's move as my own in the game.

Other than that it just takes a lot of patience to keep reloading the game for favorable outcomes for the gambling games.

Shit, really? Are there other alternative sites in case I get autism banned one day?

Hating Miata fuck you

Dumb phoneposter.

>The online trophies
What online trophies? PBS doesn't have any.

It is a special kind of reward. You know you can watch the full story of God of war but it's not the same as playing it. Getting a trophy is that kind of feeling. I only have like 5 easy platinum trophies, but sometimes getting something small feels good

stanley parable, tomb raider 2013

I've used the site for years to keep track of my own stuff but have never heard of this. Any specific stories?

>pool
Fuck that challenge.
>AI plays first
>plays the game by himself twice
Took me 8 tries and on the last one he must've given me a break because he actually MISSED a trickshot.

Age of Empires 2 HD originally had achievements where you had to win 1000 games as each civilization (it has been toned down to 100), assuming you cheese AI in 5 minute games it was still several thousand hours

Considering most people have experiences closer to mine than yours, I'd say otherwise. And that you're a faggot.

Just read through here.

Crash Bandicoot 1 is giving me trouble, time trials is a soul-crushing process to get through. Going to get it eventually, but seriously can only do like a level or 2 before having to take a break and calm down.

Killzone 2

Mahjong ended up being pretty fun, and it gave me an excuse to play it more.
Although I guess I helped the other guy cheat since he didn't earn it himself. It was all he needed left for the platinum. He was some fuck who bought all those low effort PSN games that give out platinums in less than an hour anyway. It's not like he had any dignity left.

1 achievement
0.1% completion rate

Attached: dd.jpg (400x500, 57K)

It's just a leaderboard ban. You can still track all your trophies and shit, but the problem is that people that see your profile and see that you have no leaderboard numbers anymore will randomly scream at you on PSN and call you a cheater because they have no life or brain.

How hard would you say getting everything in the Master Chief Collection is?

Is the Transformers game that hard?
More importantly, is it any good?

>those leaderboard achievements
from one of the guides
>I'd estimate this to be a min. 6-8 week haul right now and at least 1000 hours

I don't need a dozen fucking Miatas, just the NA/NB/ND and a Spec Miat race car is sufficient

>download a shogi app which I used to mirror my opponents moves against the master ai setting, and then used the ai's move as my own in the game
That's actually pretty clever, man

Attached: Cell.gif (500x279, 1.06M)

That's only for 1 of them, and you can idle all of that if you have multiple consoles and accounts. Team/Solo require you to actually play, and they take thousands of hours too

Space Station Silicon Valley

>Sojik got to 1100 seconds
Imagine how fucking crazy this guys reaction time and hand-eye coordination must be. He could probably catch a bullet.

I muddle through Mahjong every time a new Yakuza game comes out and I detest it. Doesn't help that I forget all the random bullshit rules between releases. God I hate that they put minigame completion in trophy reqs.

Why are early 360 achievements so fucking based?

Attached: q4.png (1309x796, 223K)

>I still can't figure out shogi, and had to download a shogi app which I used to mirror my opponents moves against the master ai setting, and then used the ai's move as my own in the game.
You don't have to do that in any Yakuza game at all. Literally just Google challenge 1 and then repeat that five times because each challenge counts as a win and the moves are predetermined. Here's Judgment's for example:
youtube.com/watch?v=BaPmRZCd3Ss

I disagree, a faggot wouldn't go around gifting randoms pure bladestones knowing their reputation, but it still is a bigger bogeyman than it actually is.

The multiplayer DLC for FFXV is literally impossible to get any trophies for because they shut down the servers.

Cars Race'O'Rama
Actually impossible

>muh hard grinding
1 in 200 is baby numbers. Are you joking?

DoAX2
There might still be secret achievements yet to be unlocked by anyone.

You're basically arguing that since it didn't happen to you, it mustn't happen often. That's 100% faggotry. Even if you're a generous faggot.

>Grind one enemy 200 times
that's pussy shit
my first plat was worse than that

It's not that bad. At least not in Kiwami. You don't even have to partake in the tournaments. I only have a basic knowledge of Mahjong, and I purely stuck to the beginner table and was still able to complete everything.
The basic hands are easy enough to remember, and more than enough to win with, and when in doubt, don't bother stealing from opponents.

don't know why I didn't think of doing that at the time. Regardless, my method worked just as well.

>I'm a cocksmoking faggot!
We know. Now fuck off.

If you have a copy of the Window's version, you can crossplay with Xbox since PC servers are still open.

>a faggot wouldn't go around gifting randoms pure bladestones knowing their reputation
They would if they were lying on hundreds of them, which they most likely are since it's easy as fuck to duplicate items in Demons Souls.

demonssouls.wikidot.com/item-duplication-how-to-duplicate-how-to-dupe

Considering how likely it is that you farmed for it in a shit manner, I wouldn't be surprised if you think it takes so long.
Besides,

FFX is probably the hardest one I've completed. They went out of their way to shit as many players off as possible with that one.

Literally anything with online cheevos unless you do it it within a month of the game releasing.

I've done many time consuming achievements before, but fuck all that noise.

>because they shut down the servers.
Comrades is still around though, and if you're talking about the trophy list on the main FFXV list you can get that by downgrading your game/specifically downloading the patch prior to the standalone client one and playing it offline (Which just makes your teammates really dumb AI so it makes it harder but doable). Or if you have the game at the patch prior to them forcing it to the standalone client you can just go offline as well without needing to downgrade, that's how I did it and got it on the normal trophy list.

>I don't understand how probability works!

1 in 200 doesn't mean it drops by the 200th time you fucktards. 1 in 200 means that it's statistically likely to drop. A person could kill 40000 of those skeletons and still never see a pure bladestone.

t. cheater

I know how probabilities work you mental invalid, 1/200 drop chance is still fucking pussy shit.
Normal monster hunter grinding is worse than that, let alone trophy autism.

>THAT'S NOT SO BAD!
fuck off
>monhun is worse
No it isn't, one-upping piece of shit.

CB1's level designs were never designed with a time attack in mind and they just sort of slapped it on anyway. A lot of the levels are incredibly frustrating because of that.

They banned me from the leaderboards because I "Accumulated armor too quickly" in Monster Hunter World despite the fact that I got the trophies for that months and months after I started playing the game. I only really used a kind of min-max set while I was grinding away, and didn't waste money and shit making random pieces until I was ready to just dump it all, get trophies and quit playing. But because I got that spread of trophies very close to each other, I was a "cheater."

They also banned one of my close friends because in Sekiro his Ashina Traveller trophy bugged and didn't pop until like his 3rd trip to the final area, so it showed him having full upgrade trophies first.

Neither of us give a shit about their leaderboards, but I have been screamed at randomly on PSN by someone as a "cheater." I blocked the dude immediately, but it's just annoying to think it might happen again. The only reason I even have my trophies public is so I can use tracking sites like that one. People are retarded.

>The only hard part about the minigames is getting past the cultural barrier and learning how to play them. I still can't figure out shogi, and had to download a shogi app which I used to mirror my opponents moves against the master ai setting, and then used the ai's move as my own in the game.
Is it possible to do this for Mahjong?

Attached: 1546795393186.jpg (335x208, 9K)

If you're going to enter a thread about autistic grinding and bitch about grinding something for a few hours then fuck off.

How is 1/200 droprate even that bad?
Runescape has many, many boss drops at 1/512 and some things are 1/5000

LawBreakers. Forget "nearly" impossible, the game is 100% impossible to platinum now.

Mahjong is poker, not chess.

Sorry, weapons and armor, not just armor. Had to go look at their glaring red bullshit on my profile again.

hahah
HAHAHA
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
no
but I'm sure Moose will pop up any second now because the words yakuza were spoken and say how mahjong secretly isn't that bad and you just need to learn it and then get the literal perfect hand needed for the trophy

>TFW

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 20K)

On that dragon warhammer grind right now.
1/5000

I don't see how it would be. You'd have to find an app that not only lets the computer play for you, but to figure out the exact order the tiles are in Yakuza, and somehow be able to mirror that into the app.

>lightning plains

Attached: tf03.jpg (473x480, 15K)

>for a few hours
And that's how I can tell that you clearly don't have a grasp on probability.
What is it that makes you think it would only take a few hours? Sure, it MIGHT pop up in a few hours, but there is no guarantee that it will.

>and then get the literal perfect hand needed for the trophy
>Thinking I don't get shit hands constantly and have to savescum multiple times just to beat tables.

Attached: 1360248079979.png (128x128, 6K)

>Sure, it MIGHT pop up in a few hours, but there is no guarantee that it will.
we get it, you're too much of a pussy to grind shit, leave the thread designated for autistic grinding

Oh.

Stop being a one-upper.
Stop the "That's nothing!" bullshit.
It's annoying and makes people hate you. You aren't impessing anyone.

Stop doing this shit

forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/66670-i-am-removing-myself-from-this-site/

It's not even that, in fact it's far scummier than you could ever imagine. They deliberately patched connectivity with the servers out of the game forcing you to use the separate standalone version of it, but if you have an earlier version of the game you can still access the servers and complete it. Because rather than try and boost the player count of an already dead multiplayer they restricted it even further to one separate app no one in their right mind should pay for. It's one of the shittiest server lockdowns I've ever seen for a game and I wasted 30 hours getting those trophies

I used to have a fairly firm stance of platting any game I played.
I was about 60% of the way through yakuza 0 before I found out about mahjong, and then I gave up.

Attacking Zegeta 1 and 2

There's also a big forum on psnprofiles about attempting to do multiplayer shit for games with dead multiplayer

There's a way to fairly easily do that with a consistent spawning spot. I just didn't even count because it was just putting unnecessary pressure on myself and just did it til I got hit. Got like 250 or something.

Given that they're making you grind 300 of the things they could have at least out a bit more effort into the UI.

>caring about achievements/trophies
Fuck off, underage.

This shit is hilarious.
Get a load of all these BR's scrambling to explain how they're totally not cheating and have cfw installed on their systems.

It's really not that bad. Again, the only hard part is working past the cultural barrier. Outside of a few rare moments, there wasn't anything that I thought that was exceptionally hard. It's just grindy and requires patience.

I agree. Let's have more eceleb cuck threads and twitter screencaps in lieu of people actually discussing their tangible accomplishments in video games.

It really isn't that hard though and you shouldn't be discouraged. Everyone and their mother acts like it's some mystical voodoo from the east when it's just Japanese gin rummy.
>Goal of the game is to get a hand of 3+3+3+3+2.
>3 is something in numerical order like 1-2-3 of the same type of tile or 3-3-3 of the same type of tile, 2 is just two of the same tile.
>Don't steal tiles because it makes the amount of legitimate hands you can make much harder.
>Enable red doras which adds red 5 tiles to the game which give you free points if used in your hand.
>If your hand is one tile away from winning you can press square and bet 1000 points which puts you into an auto-discard state.
>Real simple bonuses to learn are not having a 1 or a 9 in your hand, triple tiles of either the honors (The red, green, or pure white tiles), triple tiles of the wind which is in the center of the table or near your name, the entire hand is just made of doubles, etc.
Your hand can be literal garbage filled with random tiles, and as long as you haven't stolen it will be valid 100% of the time, albeit for a small amount of points. If you can grasp Koi-koi then this is just as difficult to learn i.e. it takes a handful of hours at the very most. Nobody wants to put the time into understanding even the most basic things when it's relatively simple outside of the scoring which I only understand on a surface level. It's not like you're playing Fanorona in Assassin's Creed Black Flag or something.

>deliberately entering a thread you have no interest in and sperging out at people who enjoy something you don't
Why don't you spend your time looking for threads that do interest you user?

>Everyone and their mother acts like it's some mystical voodoo
>proceedes to speak in tongues and spew voodoo textdump

Get the behind me, Satan.

I have a 50% winrate. Are you people mentally retarded or something?

DMC4 Untouchable trophy. You have to beat Dante on the last stage in the bloody palace without taking damage.
If you fail to do that, you have to restart the whole fucking thing from stage 1.

If you want good Transformers games play War of Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron.

Try collecting all the stickers in Brawl.

Not only is it tedium, but it's RNG induced tedium to an absurd degree.

Some of my rarest trophies are just ones that other people haven't got due to no one playing the game.

I have some 0.1% achievements on the Homefront Revolution DLCs because the game tanked. Then again the 0.1% is just what the Playstation tells me so I don't know how "correct" that is.

>Only Japanese word in that entire thing is "Dora"
>No mention of riichi.
>No mention of yakus
>No mention of chi, kan, or pon.
>No mention of ron or tsumo.
>No usage of any hand names.
Actual mahjong threads use terms which are completely insane like tanyao, furiten (Which is apparently just the state where you're one tile away from winning but haven't called riichi yet), various Japanese names for hands like Ryuuilsou and that shit is what looks like voodoo witchcraft. Even if you know how to play it's like reading hexes.
One day you will learn mahjong, I believe in you guy-who-always-says-he'll-never-do-it-in-every-thread.

Also the whole thing with his hitbox being cylindrical now, and the Crash 3 physics fucking stuff up. I'm dreading those longer levels near the end of the game with all of the retracting platforms you have to wait for.

It wasn't TERRIBLY hard, but in Diddy Kong Racing, some of the latter Silver Coin Challenge races were indeed pretty damn difficult.

Greenwood Village in the last Stage before racing against Wizpig for the first time was particularly rough.

Attached: 584408_front.jpg (640x439, 99K)

Not impossible but Monster Hunter World looks a fucking chore, I was trying a while back ago but then I gave up

hollow knight

Stopped trying to 100% smash bros. after having my 3ds stolen twice and re-completing smash 4 two times. My Wii U getting stolen after beating all those fucking insane challenges and unlocking the stupid fucking RNG custom moves was the final straw. Nintendo can go suck a dick with their game-time padding RNG collectable bullshit. When they announced the fighter Spirit thing in that direct, I immediately was like "yah fucking don't care about this shit at all whatever it's going to be"

You get 1st place 50% of the time in races with 10 to 20 players? Well congratulations on your skill, but I'm sure you're smart enough to do basic math and realize the average player has a statistically low chance of winning unless they qualify near the top. The skill ceiling is very high and one bad penalty or mistake can end the race.
Are you S ranked in both driver and sportsmanship?

>that gdq speedrun
i know it ended up being botched and he had to do the levels individually but jesus

Attached: 1556918844527.jpg (564x564, 69K)

The hardest part is the crowns, but it's very possible. Getting every armor and weapon would also be easy.

Attached: MHW 100%.png (494x205, 39K)

Your mom.

The vast majority of spirits get unlocked on the main story mode, and then you can get anything else via the Spirit Board and store, both of which resupply quickly and there's only something like 200 spirits you have to get that way I think? Either way you end up getting loads of coins to spend on Mii gear and music so it's always worth it, and duplicate gear and music never shows back up again. It's way toned down compared to trophies and whatever Sm4sh required.

ratings that show on the PS4 are entirely different from those on a site like PSNprofiles.

The rating your talking about is using Sony's servers to compare every single person who has a PSN account.
PSNprofiles compares your rating with everyone else on that site, meaning your .1% is probably something like 10% since you're being compared with other trophy hunters, and not with people who didn't get past the title screen.

you get slightly less than half in World of Light. But there are plenty of ways to get the rest with Spirit Point stores, the shop, items that rearrange the board in various ways.

The main store has a preference of stocking Spirits you don't currently posses, which includes New spirits and ones you evolved/used for fusion.

The only bullshit right now is event locked stuff like the Toy-Con set.

Nearly impossible due to difficulty or nearly impossible due to circumstances?
White Knight Chronicles 1/2 would fall into the latter, with the account being down you can't get online achievements any more. Or Warframe because new ones are added with each update so it's hard to keep up.
If it's former, then things like Ace Combat 7 because a couple achievements rely on things like machinegun only run or no damage received run. Or things like Wipeout, since things like mastering highest difficulties is a really high casual filter.

>The only bullshit right now is event locked stuff like the Toy-Con set.
They eventually go for sale at the store permanently, remember that Partner Eevee and Pikachu were Let's Go exclusive for a bit, and the Mario Party spirits were event ones for a tiny bit before they became permanents.

Speaking of psn profiles, anyone know why it shows one percentage but if you hover with the mouse it shows another? What does it mean?

Default value is the percentage of PSNProfiles players that unlocked that trophy/platinum rarity. Hover over is the value of the entirety of PSN that played it and their unlock %. It's why when you look at Bloodborne it's something like 50% or something for the platinum but on PSN it's like 32%.

PoE league challenges

Killzone 2, one trophy requires you to rank in the top 1% of multiplayer for the week. Its mostly about playtime vs how well you are doing, but me and a friend spent over 100 hours over the course of a week passing the controller back and forth, doing rather well and still barely made it.

It's "technically" possible, but not really, that's why it's 600+ hours. When the servers went down, the multiplayer missions and ranks were not adjusted with a patch, so you're looking at fighting solo bosses designed to fight against multiple people at levels designed to take months to reach in a group.

Back when the game was up and active, it was a couple weeks if you were speedrunning.

Took me a couple months then I re-signed my saves and brought them over to my current account using a save editor which ended up giving me a plat in about 6 days.
Still wish I could delete it from my account, even if they were my saves they weren't earned that fast originally, but whatever, not like anyone gives a fuck about trophies anyway.

5 was the worst.
>Took 4 hours to install.
>More than half the cars were "non premium" as in imported from the PS2 games.
>If you were using non premiums, the in-game photo option wouldn't let you take photos/screenshots.
>Most of the good cars were non-premium, premium slots were wasted on shitty Volkswagen vans from the 60s, garbage mini-trucks and other obscure shit. (Premiums were high-detail current gen models)
>Most of the tracks looks like they were also imported from PS2, only couple tracks actually looked good.
>Physics were janky as shit so you couldn't even use a bunch of these obscure premium cars because they didn't have enough horsepower to go up inclines in certain tracks.
>Took 5 fucking minutes to just load into main menu.
>After finishing a race you had to go back into the main menu before loading into another/same race.
>Took 5 minutes to load into a race.
>About 3 or 4 campaign races in (Forgive me for being vague, it has been half a decade) you needed cars from specific year to complete.
>There were only two of those cars in the entire game.
>The only way to get either of those cars was from the used car shop.
>Used car shop was online-only and on a 24hr reset timer.
>Those cars showed up incredibly rarely.
>They were both shit so most people wouldn't have picked them up unless they knew to look for them.
>They were only being sold the first day, and didn't come back into rotation for weeks, so if you didn't get the game on launch day, lol fuck you.
>At this point I quit playing, the only game I own that I played for less time than it took to install.

I got that literally the first day I played online. Expert aim too.

Did this on 360, PS3 and PC. Fucking hate Goatlings

Want some time consuming low percentage games, get EDF games. The two on vita are pretty rare and same for PS4. The 2017 on 360 is also up there as well.

Y-yeah?

Blue Dragon.

It's not the hardest, it's doable, but the platinum trophy for Vice City is retarded as fuck. Easily the most retarded one I've seen so far.

Yeah, I have that one. That was some stupid bullshit.
You have to glitch yourself over to the second island early, get 50 hidden packages, and then use the machinegun-helicopter to shoot a car for like, 13 hours.

>dad picked up a ps3 just for muh driving simulator
>cant finish the game because he cant get to level 40 without grinding the same races all over again
>since he cant reach level 40, he cant run the race to unlock the formula gran turismo car
>he has 1/3 of a chance of getting that fucking car anyway

Wait, what? Why do you have to do all of that shit?

Can you not do those things normally in the game?

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2+ is pretty impossible.
They took the coop missions from the PS3 version, where you needed another human player to finish some of the mission and made it so that you could only solo them with an AI partner. Furthermore, they slapped a Turbo mode on it, so the gameplay was even faster. Coupled with the bad performance of the game on Vita it was impossible to get the platinum.
The only guy who got it was a pretty obvious cheater.

Some games have online trophies and had their servers taken offline. Those games are effectively impossible to fully complete. It also goes to show how some platinum trophies/1000 points are only available for certain amount of time.

Resistance 2, Buzz TV quiz and Bulletstorm are some examples.

>wanting some 4 cylinder fagmobile

Yup but I think it actually were 80 packages. You also have to do the minigame on the car park like 13 times in a row with as little time left as possible to double your money reward for the 10 million dollars.

I actually did the other method were you need to stack three helicopters in the garage of Hyman Condo and three additional ones on the top of the building. Then you keep entering the cheat for blowing up nearby vehicles. Everytime the six helicopters explode (luckily it counts even when they are already destroyed), you get 180 points. Enjoy doing this about 5500 times in a row. Occasionally a helicopter randomly despawns btw.

The trophy requires you to get 1.000.000 points which are absolutely impossible to reach with normal play. It's actually fascinating how intricate the strategy with the helicopter is. You should read up on it.

Cod 4

The training course, but is doable if you are halfway decent, but the fucking mile high club is cancer

Attached: ouzb4dshhha21.jpg (1364x1600, 424K)

Mile High Club made me give up. It's just too random. I'd watch videos of it on youtube and the ai was never as benevolent in my tries, it wasn't even close.
The training course is alright.

UFC on PS3 has a trophy that requires you to be #1 on the leaderboard. Last time I checked, only one person ever got it.

Some of the Skylanders games can't be 100%'ed because they don't connect online anymore.

With MHC you just need to get past that first half of the plane. The second half is basically spamming stuns and spraying with any SMG you can find. I do it for fun on PC from time to time, on consoles it's a bit harder but not that bad.

You can grind and every single one has certain strategies you can replicate without any skill.

World of Warcraft

You can say that about any game or trophy. What makes Lost planet 2 so hard?

I think there was one guy who did it a couple of years back.

If you collect achievements seriously you know mp trophies are never hard because you can always boost them (if the servers are still up). Their difficulty usually lies in how much time and resources do you need to invest them. Many people double box by default. Meaning they have two systems with two games and maybe even up to 8 controllers if the game allows more than one player from one. But nowadays it is usually easier to make achievement boosting session through certain sites.

I still see this being sold for average to high prices. Those shops are practically scamming people.

Should have just had the 97' miata since it was the only good year for the miata.

Wow one enemy 100-200 times? Look up Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2. It is a hundred times worse even with glitching and cheating which is mandatory if you ever want to achieve anything in it.

>TFW you remember your 20 year old account ID and look it up.

Attached: Untitled.png (1092x53, 40K)

Saints Row 3 and 4 both have a trophy that require you to upload a created character onto the Saints Row website.

Simple right?
Except the servers were shut down sometime last year I think.

It's still doable, but I had to do a bunch of extra shit to get it to work, which basically came down to connecting my PS3 to a specific DNS, that connected to my PC, which was running a DNS program that changed that DNS into the one that Google uses.

Basically, I had to point my PS3 to googles servers, that were masked as the saints row servers by the program on my PC, tricking my PS3 into thinking that it successfully connected and uploaded my character.

Every game that takes too long to platinum. Like it asks you do an obnoxious amount of bullshit and it's not fun to do.

Ni no kuni and all Yakuza games comes to mind.

>play a roguelike game on Steam
>get all the achievements except for the last one
>achievement: "drink an alcoholic beverage with the developers"
>email them about it
>they say it was mostly a joke
>ask if it's possible to earn it
>they say yes
>schedule a meeting
>hop in car
>drive hundreds of miles to the city where the game studio is located
>knock on door
>"hey it's me"
>drink a beer
>get a code
>drive home
>type the code in the game
>achievement unlocked
>100% completion totally worth it
Guess the game.

What blows my mind is the fact that there are people out there that have the cannoli trophy but not platinum.

time consuming /= difficult

Is this for Vice City? I peaked through some guides and I dont see this helicopter glitch 1,000,000 shit anywhere

In Fight Night round 4 you had to become the Heavyweight world champion online for a trophy

Isn't that the one where the world champions basically hold the thing hostage unless you pay them like $50 on Paypal to let you win the thing and then they do it for another person? Or am I thinking of a wrestling game?

You had to be the champ for LW and MW too.

But, you could have someone pass you the belt, without climbing all the way to the top of the leaderboards. This also means certain retards either pass them back and forth to dummies to block it or charge money.

It absolutely is. Time consuming + not fun = fuck you I have other things to do. It's difficult for me to give a fuck.

That game was such a fucking dumpster fire, I'm surprised poliphony actually decided to make another one after that failed abortus.

Payday 2

Attached: 1130.jpg (1787x881, 225K)

Mortal Kombat 9
>lol play every fighter in this fighting game for 24 irl hours of in-match playtime
>every match is like 3-5 minutes tops

post actually difficult trophies/achievements/challenges that aren't "x game had online achievments and is no longer online"

I remember people thinking this shit was crazy because 40 or 60 players or something on a server was very unheard of back in the day

I'm jelly.

here user,
playstationtrophies.org/game/grand-theft-auto-vice-city/trophy/128624-Take-the-Cannoli.html

Rock Band 3 is actually impossible now since one of the songs needed for an achivement is no longer obtainable.

Autism. Pure autism. I feel disgusted for reading some of that shit.

I never looked into it but it's not surprising people would do that I guess
I remember my brother would turn off his ps3 if he was losing a fight in single player so his fighter was undefeated, not sure if it was for a trophy though I don't remember

FUCK overkill for killing PD2, 1000 hours down the drain

Ryu Ga Gotoku 3 with the AnswerXAnswer minigame.

Freaking nightmare.

Nobody actually thought achievements will blow up. And they reflected their time. Back then it was more about skill, nowadays it is grind.

How do you downgrade your game to a specific version. I know for a fact it is impossible on xbox.

anything with a dead online multiplayer

uwu erz

I never had a PS but this sounds retarded to me.

For me it's any fighting games coz they call for a lot of online play and my internet and skills are equally garbage

It's more like targeting a specific patch than downgrading, poor choice of words on my part. I think it's only a PS4 thing as well. Basically, you need a physical copy of XV, I think the Royal Edition works but if not just get the OG FFXV. You then need to download the DLC, and you also have to make sure that it does not download an update. Then follow:
forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/68912-how-to-get-comrades-trophies-after-update-127/

This also works for a couple other games that have patches that broke achievements, but while I remember seeing a thread about it ages ago I don't remember the game.

Dead Rising had that one that requires you to keep your xbox running for about 7 hours straight and people would RROD while trying to do it

I never understood how did a studio which is "obsessed with perfection" dare to put shit prevgen models in the game and advertise them as part of the main lineup.

You can easily download individual patches for 360 games and throw them on a USB stick.

Xbox one is screwed

Thankfully if you install the game to the HDD that basically becomes a non issue even if your system is a launch one because the system runs way cooler due to not using the disk drive outside of reading the game at launch.

EU4 by the time you even get close to 100% they will release like 100 new achievements.

All the online co op missions became single player only but they forgot to re-balance said missions to compensate for your partner now being a dumb AI npc, basically impossible to complete the later Ultimate Ninja missions and get the trophy for it.

Attached: Ninja-Gaiden.jpg (550x669, 265K)

I already did that for UC3 and Far Cry 2 boosting, so get fucked

MHC took me two days of screaming with rage.
>remastered is released
lolno

KOF XIII.
Good luck.

Post em

And yes, I know mine is pretty shit.

Attached: 12846129461924.png (916x5192, 1.61M)

I meant to answer the question about rpgs. As for any game it isn't true, because you can't gring games where it takes skill to get something if you are not good enough.
For example LP2 is technically a grind anyone can do with lots of free time and patience.
LP1 however needs you to play the SP levels and collect everything in bullshit difficulties. If you can't do it then nothing helps.

It's not impossible but it requires autistically good skill

There were (are?) games like that on Xbox. Kane and Lynch 1 has an achievement for being the no1 and the no2 on the leaderboards and I remember people blocked it and asked for money.

>7 hours
It was around 15 actually if you didn't take any breaks.

Attached: survive.jpg (854x287, 73K)

Gunna throw Celeste in since it hasn't been mentioned, unless Golden Strawberries count as 100%

The pool of speedrunners in that game is basically nonexistent compared to its popularity because being the levels without dying is nearly impossible. Goldens are a ridiculous achievement that's only going to get harder when Ch. 9 hits.

Ah right I got days and hours mixed up. Worse than I thought it was

The retarded devs linked the cheevo unlocking to getting the masks

Used some random program to unlock all the games achievements on steam years ago and got the demon skull mask. Only person I ever played with that had it lol.

Attached: 1558255747410-b.jpg (346x456, 20K)

>All those plats.
How the fuck do you force yourself to plat shit? I got so many games I just casually play through and I don't even try to chase trophies for most of them, not to mention I've got a crapton of games I got for free, tried, and didn't like enough to even keep playing.

Attached: trophies.jpg (2192x5488, 2.56M)

First column is old account, other two columns are new account, btw.

Planning on doing this shit in a few weeks since I have the summer off for once. Luckily I can take breaks since I can just suspend my PS4 into a low power state.
This trophy/achievement has been haunting me since 2006 and it's time I try and conquer it.

Any tips I should know going into this? I'm gonna be using a guide of course so I can keep track of where to get my food supply.

I did it without a guide back then but then I heard there is a bug if you go to the Food Court between certain hours at dawn then you can't get out of it. If you play the remastered they might have patched it?

It's not even that difficult once you get into a routine. The hard achievement is the Saint one

The idea is to beeline for the books that increase health gain and weapon durability. You're basically going to surviving off of OJ, if I remember right days 3 through 5 are spent literally just sitting in the one book store just chugging that stuff on top of a bookshelf. The last two days are you having to run up to the roof to fight the final boss and killing him, then you spend the next two days basically sitting next to his drops not picking them up until you finally need them so they don't rot (He drops steaks). There's also some psychopaths in that one left area of the mall which have smaller food drops that are still useful and they're easy to kill.

>isntall game on hdd
>get e74 instead
thanks microsoft

by final boss you mean the dude on the tank right?
Is he hard to kill in survivor mode? I can still use the real mega buster, right?

I didn't think Saint was hard at all. Sure, the AI is pretty dumb, but I think it's blown out of proportion.

Shit, I better do some research to check if that glitch is still present or not then.

Yeah, it's the same dude but you can just use the small chainsaw on him if I remember correctly which shreds through him. The only major threats in Survivor are hordes of zombies if you make a mistake, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL, and that one hunter brother with the sniper rifle.
