recently quit for two months and played a match yesterday because i had an hour to kill. it's the same as it always was. if you can get enough people on your team that actually know how to press buttons, know the champs, understand the other teams picks and how to counter them with champs that mesh well you can have a fun match.

It was in a pretty sorry state as of last patch, but this most recent patch actually fixed a couple of the obvious OP outliers (Notably Riven and Hecarim) and everyone, bar a couple, feels pretty balanced.
I've been rocking the Lethality Caitlyn mid because anyone below half hp dies instantly.

I keep seeing that "0.006%" of the players get permanently banned for completely standard and normal communications that I would make without thinking twice.
I figure, why join a game if there's a chance I'll be blindsided by a ban I never saw coming? Better to avoid it entirely.

it is a damage race, and you can blame the LCS. they dont like utility in kits, because to the average mouthbreather who watches e sports shit that flies over their head. Why would ezreal ult that wave top when there is no enemy, right? So they change it to have zero waveclear and MOAR DAMAGE MOAR NUMBERS LOOK AT THE TEAMFIGHT DAMAAAAAGEEE YEEEAAAH. Same goes with tanks too, they purposely dont make them tanky and instead buff them by giving assassin level fighting and damage. The malphite changes on the PBE are pure evidence. His tripled armor stat is being deleted off of his W in favor of adding more damage and making it auto reset timer. Ever since runes reforged this game has been unsalvageable shit, just stay away
