Legends has a cliffhanger while BN had a chance at two finales (BN3 and BN6).

It is one of the best game series period. the 4th game is pretty tedious and annoying but should still be played.

Lan's a dumbass, but he's a dumbass that manages to be likable. He's not some obnoxious sperg always yelling at the top of his voice or making faux pas so we can laugh at how much of a moron he is. He's just a kid who tends to be kind of slow on the uptake but has a good heart and an endearing bluntness.

>the first boss of the game is an unwinnable boss fight
>when you fight that boss again, he's a cutscene battle
>you have to fight the final boss with beginning of the game chips
>Dr. Regal wants the asteroid for no goddamn reason

But I liked doing multiple play throughs to get all the souls and chips. I normally hate new game + because for most games I don't even bother replaying but the battle networks are super fun and 4 is rather short.

The story takes a hit but it focuses on my favorite aspect from 3, the tournament, and they showed duo some love.

The only problem I personally had with 4 was the woodman glitch.

from what I've found it just slows the game down a bunch but it doesn't make it unable to be finished

I think there's a patch now that fixes it either way.

BN had six games and a conclusion plus a sequel series with a variation on the same gameplay. Legends 3 is the winner here.

Thinking about it, Battle Chip Challenge was a mobile game before mobile games were a thing. They could easily port it to phones and add microtranscations and call it the "big revival". No way the real games would work on touchscreens.

selecting chips is the same as network transmission. chips are codeless and you can pick as many up to 5 but the more you take, the less amount of chips show on the custom screen ( if you pick 2 chips and nothing more, you'll get a bonus of 3 more chips on screen) and such. and each chip has a set amount of uses but can increase if you pick up more of that chop.
