What are some good phone games that make use of high tier specs? Preferably ports from console/PC games or stuff without cash shop shit. No need to mention emulation.
So far I like Titan Quest, Neverwinter Nights and FFIX.

Do yourself a favor and play Valkyrie Profile. It's actually a decent port with controller support and a better UI than any other version. It is best played with a controller, but is totally playable with touchscreen.
There's a bunch of old Sega games ported over that have controller support as well.
I also recommend Shadowgun Legends as an FPS with short missions to kill some time if you're looking for something quick. The PvP is pay to win, but it's got decent loot-based single player and co-op if that's your thing. Never need to pay a dime.
Cookie Clicker
Unironically fortnite. If you have a phone that can run it at 60fps with max settings it looks impressive and it's a great game to play a few rounds every now and then.
what phones are you using, im guessing anything with snapdragon 855 is good to go
You're good with anything a couple generations back for everything except higher end emulation.
How's FFT on mobile?
I know you said not to mention emulation, but just so you know, new high end phones are able to emulate PS2, DC, GC and even some Wii games.
lol the underages ITT
Touchscreen controls are shit, you're better off emulating.
PS2 emulation still sucks, there's only a couple of playable games.
Shame. Only reason I considered the mobile version was to avoid touch screen buttons, hoping controls would be better designed from the ground up
>phone
>game
I only play crono trigger
>Buy FFVII on play store because I saw it and felt nostalgic.
>it's not a port
>literally emulated with an ugly overlay
Instantly refunded that shit and got it on retroarch.
None.
Mobile """""gaming""""" is micro transaction and gacha trash cancer only
Speaking of which, one of the guys behind Chrono Trigger recently came out with a spiritual successor of sorts on mobile. Can't speak to it's quality as the art style turned me off, but afaik it's been well received.
Guess I could've mentioned the name. It's called Another Eden. Apparently it's coming to Switch too.
Great game. It has gacha, but that is literally 100% optional and is never mentioned except in the tutorial you can completely ignore it.
>tfw got an s10e
>the dream of emulating Kirby's Air Ride on the toilet is finally a reality
fuck I need a controller for this shit
i wanted to buy a huawei bros im so sad
get a zenfone 6
Gacha subhuman cope
Who /pocophone/ here? And if not why not?
>6gb RAM
>Snapdragon 845
>4000mAh battery
>Liquid cooling
>£250/$320
Why do that when you can get a zenfone with a snapdragon 855 and a larger battery for only a little bit more?
Just buy a used note 9 for $450.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Literally one of the best games of all time.
pretty much everything sucks except the sd845, i can`t believe i fell for this crap
Only the Mi series is worth buying, all other Xiaomi phones are made with crappy spare parts that underperform.
Thinking about grabbing an LG G4 for gaming purposes.
My current Smartphone still works very well, especially after I removed the Google Bloat, but It's having difficulty with some of the higher end games I play like Morphite, Riptide GP Renegade and Oddworld Stranger's Wrath. I used to have a GPD XD to run these games, but it went kaput a few months back, and I don't want to muster up another $200 to get a XD+.
Since the G4 still has a replaceable battery and can be gotten for around $60, I figured grabbing that and a controller like would make for a nice little game device, while my current phone sticks to being a communication device.
