I used to always watch my older brother and cousin play this game with a printed GameFAQs guide. I was always so excited but never played it myself. Must've been around seven at the time. Anyway, I just got it set up on my phone. Looking forward to enjoying it for myself. I've actually never had much experience with any FF game except the Tactics subseries. Any tips to keep in mind?

It's ugly as fuck even for a PSX game, it's unplayable when you don't have the nostalgia.

Sony released a dev kit of the PS1 for hobbyists to get interested in PS1 development. It's pretty much all really amateur terrible shit but the interesting thing is the guy who made that small FF7 ripoff demo actually got hired by Square Enix and was the director of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series.
