Not counting out-of-game songs and reused tracks...

Not counting out-of-game songs and reused tracks, the entire Touhou videogame series has over 34 hours worth of unique music.

Is there a single videogame series that trumps that?

The Mario series.

I want to fuck Reimu

Counting fan made remixes, there are over 4 months of touhou music.
No, no one can top that.

Mega Man franchise?

Final Fantasy has to be up there somewhere with its thousanf main games and spin-offs

Mario
Megaman
Literally any big name long-running series.
Take your pick, idiot.

Megaman has a lot but they're 2 minutes long at most

And those "a lot" of 2 minutes add up to more than touhou.

>Mario
>not counting reused tracks
Doubt

>unique music
>most tracks sound the same

Is anyone up to marathon all of that?

>The only Mario music that exist is 1-1

Final Fantasy. Even though the oldest NES releases had rather short songs, all of the newer soundtracks are long as hell, and there’s also zounds of spinoff games like Crystal Chronicles, Dissidia etc. to pad the numbers.

Especially since Final Fantasy games have a lot of cutscene specific tracks. So that alone puts Touhou at a disadvantage.

You don’t even need spinoffs, SNES era releases already had soundtracks 2-3 hours long and from PS1 and onwards they are 4-5 hours long. 3D era mainline games already beat Touhou on themselves.

>PoFV
>every fighting game

Street Fighter, The King of Fighters

Probably DDR or Beatmania

Final Fantasy. But not counting FF, Touhou is probably the first, yeah.
