I've been playing through the mass effect trilogy and I'm halfway through 3 now, it's been a really good time. I like playing as a vanguard, you go between close quarters shotgun play and comfy time talking to crew members.

I see ME2 on lots of 'best of' lists. so i'll give it a try, thanks

Yeah, you don't miss a whole lot if you skip 1 and 3, it's just neat to see your choices carry over and npcs mention what you've done.

If you played KH then you might as well play GoW or DMC or Ninja Gaiden

I would start from 1 anyway, I just was put off the idea of the series by those bugs/memes a few years ago, but i don't think thats for 1-3 ?

That's for andromeda, which shit the bed enough to kill the series.

I actually played a bit of DMC as a kid, the one with the bad guy with a book. I remember being a bit scared at the time. Thanks will try series from start

Devil may cry series, all of them besides Dmc 2 and Dmc: Devil May Cru

Would one of those be better than bayonetta? That's been on my BL a long time.

Thanks, when I play KH sometimes it feels like im just mashing x button and only story is keeping me in it. Is DMC a bit better in that regard?

Play on critical

You’ve already said that you’ve looked into some ‘best of’ lists so just go from there. Research the greats and play the ones that interest you the most.

this one of those hidden gems i've heard so much about?

okay well if that’s the case, are there any particular genres you’re interested in? That would definitely help getting reccomendations

Yeah, it's really great. It's a 2D platformer made by Treasure. Honestly, just about any game made by old Treasure is good. Gunstar Heroes is probably their most popular title. Dynamite Headdy and Silhouette Mirage are good as well.

Tomba 1 and 2

Opposite, gameplay will keep you going through the cheesy storyline.

Na shit idea. There's a reason you see threads on here laughing at them. If he picks the wrong one, he's going to be stuck with a lot of shit

Im a very avid gamer, its just I only played fps/racing on pc/console for the longest time. Now that i can feel boomer reactions kicking in I want to try something else

Regarding genres id enjoy. Just not fps as I find sp fps boring after years of mp.

I guess what I want to know is what sparked joy for you as a kid?

Uncharted series
ignore haters

will try. I played Guardian heroes with friends as kid and it was amazing experience so was always aware Treasure was based, at what point did they get shit?

Goofy fucks?

spoiler? im only on KH1.5 currently

Thanks, I have vita so can go through all 5

KH1 is just like that in general but near the end where you go to hollow bastion is when you can't just mash x aimlessly. Especially boss fights.

Will i get sucked into the story soon? currently its just I need help that girl with her heart, with cameos from Disney characters.

I remember seeing those KH cinematics as a kid and the feels were real. I want that
