Gotta be a pretty fancy bar.
Noah Cruz
imagine if a race like ferengi were made in modern trek. sjw's would flip a tit
Hunter Mitchell
Pre-DS9 Ferengi are the same thing.
David Allen
I'd say the jews are the ones who'd lose their shit, then I realized they're one in the same
Jack Wood
Ferengi exist as a critique of sexism and capitalism. Right wingers are more likely to be mad about them.
Reminder that DS9 was 100 times more SJW than Discovery is.
Zachary Perez
>every ""alien"" look like a human in makeup
Star Wars is so fucking fake
Liam Bell
There was a fucking video on YouTube with the title “Picard owns an SJW”.
It had to be the most retarded title ever
Angel Fisher
people who think trek was ever "redpilled" since the TNG days are the dumbest motherfuckers on earth. they can't be helped. smashing their heads in with bricks would be a mercy killing.
Blake Gonzalez
Totally bro, remember that whole arc in DS9 where Rom started a union? Remember how Quark began to accept that federation ethics were better than ferengi rules? Man the SJWs would FREAK.
Joseph Roberts
Andrew Myers
It was Picard owns a feminist but the lady he was arguing with was a war monger and racist
Alexander Watson
lol oh man SJWs would be so pissed off lmao haha man they would be so triggered LMAO
Juan Carter
Pretty sure they're making very clear that Nog is in the wrong and this isn't some kind of redpill bomb for the audience
Lincoln Perry
>Picard
>not an SJW
John Thomas
Smells like Reddit in here
Alexander Wright
>Reminder that DS9 was 100 times more SJW than Discovery is.
True, but that's not what Yea Forums told me. You want me to reject the memes and use my own reasoning skills? Forget it. I have a narrative and a persecution complex to maintain.
Andrew Price
good episode.
Nog literally does nothing wrong, but learns that only whore respond to ferengi pick up tactics.
Aiden Hill
>people are saying things I don't agree with... on MY website?
Just admit you want an echochamber hugbox why don't you
Or better yet, refute the points that you disagree with
Jack Cruz
Yes.
That's literally the point in that anons post
Connor Reed
Yea Forums and Reddit are both echochambers because the real problem here is the "i must fit into this group of people" mentality. AKA hivemind.
Don't tell anyone I said that.
Jack Young
sarcasm is truly the brainlet choice of comedy
Robert King
>I AM THE ONLY ONE TO SEE THE SIMILARITIES OF REDDIT AND Yea Forums YOU FOOLS!
Blake Martin
Sorry to lower the standard of game discussion in the thread, user
Caleb Cook
Yeah but Quark drew the line at having his mother wear clothes. He had some principles.
Evan Sanchez
>everyone itt implying ferengi weren't made as an antisemitic stereotype
Gabriel Richardson
Nah, people just get really pissy when you compare the two truthfully
Kayden Torres
reminder that Quark proudly rents out holodecks for sex with holograms and people still claim the series is SJW.
Jayden White
But they weren't. You can say for certain that they weren't because all of the Jewish stereotypes were on the part of the Jewish actors who happened to play them. Thus instead of being antisemetic it's more of a self-parody.
Aaron Barnes
What? People in the federation use holodecks to fuck holograms too. What's SJW or antiSJW about holodeck sex?
Liam Turner
It's funny because the only ones who ever flip out over Star Trek, then and now, are conservatives
Cameron Scott
>It's an echo chamber because 50% of the people there agree with you and only 40% of people will call you a faggot, and 10% will call anything you post, no matter what it is, wrong!
dumbass
Justin Robinson
The big, important difference here is that on Yea Forums, you get to see every post. On Reddit, anything that's not the echochamber gets buried. Which is why Yea Forums sees shifts and turns in prevailing ideology and is generally more creative, while on Reddit shit festers forever.
Yea Forums has become more of an echochamber than I'd like recently, but it's still a far cry from Reddit simply due to its infrastructure.
Luis Johnson
Is the a meta joke about conservicucks being mad as fuck about liberals "turning star trek SJW" with discovery even though there's barely any ethics in it and it's just a pew pew explosions action series?
Righties ACTUALLY flipped a tit but here you are talking about a theoretical SJW tit flip that never happened.
Mason Thomas
SHUT UP ABOUT TREK AND SJW, GO TO FUCKING Yea Forums IF YOU WANT DISCUSS SHIT, IF YOU ARE ON Yea Forums CRY ABOUT ACTISHIT CANCELLING THE BORG RTS GAME.
Ethan Hall
Yea Forums hasn't been creative in about 6 years. We stopped creating OC because everything was called cringe the moment anyone started. Irony zoomers and their pepes and wojacks fucked the site up for good. /pol/ is just shitting in the ash pile.
James Harris
>THE BORG RTS GAME.
Wait, what?
Andrew Jenkins
When I grow up, I want to be as smart and handsome as Rom.
Evan Perry
That's just not true. Even if you don't like that shit there's a lot of running gags to come from here in the last few years that aren't pepes and wojaks (granted, they're fucking pervasive as shit). It's just that people have kind of retreated to more specialized threads, so you'll find OC in, say, Ace Attorney or SimCity threads.
Levi Sullivan
newfags don't even know how to access the hidden boards.
Jace James
Irony culture in general serves no purpose but to destroy whatever it comes across. It is intentionally dishonest, intentionally bad. It purposefully lowers everything to the level of a joke without a punchline, and that's honestly all that people seem to be focused on doing these days. They all want to be the fucking asshole with all the (You)s and get put in screencaps because they think they're fucking hilarious.
Gavin Lewis
You play as borg, trying to assimilate the alpha quadrant, space and land RTS.

>"the game's design did not reflect the established Star Trek universe".
Huh. I mean, it does sound potentially cool, but that article plus image does make it seem like they just slapped Star Trek on a B-level StarCraft.
Blake Nguyen
>make a Star trek Borg game
>Forget about the Star Trek part
wow Activision. Wow.
Robert Morris
Only video youtu.be
Jayden Hill
Well stated.
