With it being a 4-player-co-op game without many modes to dilute the playerbase, it's definitely still alive. Running into the same people or running out of servers isn't as much of a problem as with other games.

One shots chaos warriors with a headshot on Legend, but you need a lot of attack speed for it to shine so Slayer is generally the only time you can use it well.
It's also decent at crowd control after its speed buffs a while back but dual hammers exist so who fucking cares.
