I'm one of the few retarded you backed this when it was in beta. One of the many mistakes I've made in life.
It tried to be a clone of monster hunter while completely missing what made monster hunter fun. Also the art style is fucking disgusting. I use to think it was ok but I started hating it more and more as I played.
Since it's free, I wouldn't recommend that you don't at least try it yourself but don't spend any money or plan investing too much time into it.

I agree, there is no genre to begin with.

The "hunting genre" is just a nice term they use instead of "MH wannabe".

It's like monster hunter if you remove all of the prep, all of the hunting, and all of the maintenance of growing farms/getting materials. It's hollow as fuck. Once you've fought the monsters once that's it.

you didn't really miss out on much. It was promising, but it doesn't really have that much content and it's all way worse than MHW.
The devs also started making more decisions that were leaning towards squeezing money out of the players, so you've probably saved yourself from that milking.

you will anyways. getting the gear upgrades you need is just as repetitive as it is in MH

maybe for (you) smugposter, but some of people prefer not to install the epic launcher or use their services at all

yeah the game is f2p though. doubt it would become pirateable anytime soon

White is the most aesthetically pleasing here. Red's are a bit too big, and purple doesn't have that bounce to them.
But White has the perfect size and shape, and they jiggle wonderfully.

I don't know who these ladies are, but just based on their breasts in this image, I'm going to assume that leftmost is best girl.

Played since the private beta, it all feels like a knock-off MH instead of being its own thing. I don't know if its in the art style or how the gameplay feels, but everytime I played it, I felt like I was wasting my time by not just playing MH.

You still need to farm monsters. You just don't have anything to bring to the fight. It's you + like 5 health potions and your weapon. No tools, no traps, no bombs, no pods, no throwables, no antidotes/temp cures, nothing. So all fights go identically and there is no threat within an environment.
