You can beat it with an insane amount of trial and error, but unless you're a kid who has only this game to play, you most likely won't have the patience. The game doesn't explain nearly enough about the mechanics, and you won't figure out the Digivolution requirements on your own. But going into this game blind is a cool experience nontheless.
Why did they think this was a good idea? You need a guide to get the things you want and even then its still really easy to fuck up
i finished the first time without strategy
and i sued the strategy guide to get the evolution i wanted.
FUck off OP, you are not cool for knowing that you need 50 weight to get a metalgreymon out of nothing, or that you need 3000 3000 500 500 to get X digimon
my digimon kept dying because I thought they were thirsty.
It took me 3 months to realize they needed to see that centaur guy at the clinic
>need 50 weight
You don't, not necessarily. There are so many things early guides got wrong, it's actually insane. It wasn't until the last few years that people have figured out the mechanics properly.
Well, that shit you can read up in the manual. That doesn't require a proper guide.
its an example of what bullshit digimon world hides from you. Pretty much Raw numbers, not even ideas.
It's not a specific number, it's a range. If the exact weight requirement is 30, then you can be between 25 to 35 to meet the requirement. It's still not obvious that you have to have high weight, but it's not as much bullshit as most originally thought.
>That PAL version
Ive never felt so scammed in my life
