Kind of a weird question. But can you have two sims 4's on the same computer? I have a legal version of the base game I have on my pc that someone gifted to me. But I want to get the fitgirl repack to have all the content. Can I have both the legitimate one and the pirated one on the same pc (on different drives, of course)? To be more specific, I don't mean mix and matching packs or anything. I just mean one sims 4 (legal) on my pc and another sims 4 with all the content on a different drive.
Also, what is the likelihood of getting caught pirating the fitgirl crack? I only pirate anime so I'm not sure of the risks of other things.

As much as I like Sims 3, the load times aren't even the biggest issue it has.
The memory leak never got fixed so it will keep eating more RAM and will eventually even heat up modern CPUs quite hot if you leave it running for a while.
And all of that gets worse every time you install an addon. Not to mention that partially because of that, it's very prone to crashing.

It's honestly not worth it without the DLC. The base game is super barebones and you'll get bored of it very quickly. The lack of content makes an already shallow game even more obvious.

Mods are just .package files. All you do is move them into a folder named "Mods" where the game is stored. That's it.
The most taxing thing is that you have to go into options when you boot the game to enable custom content then restart the game. And then you have mods installed.
Also, yes. Mods do work with pirated copies of the game.

The fun of the sims games was in fucking around with simulated people and killing them or putting them in fun situations and generally messing up their lives playing God. As someone who modded skyrim intensively for months, creating my own mods in the process, skyrim is pretty poor as a porn game. The sex in skyrim doesn't jive with the gameplay at all. This is the best inclusion of 3 imo. It was less of a problem in 2 if you didn't just stick to one household forever but it was a problem regardless. However this makes 3 geared more to playing single families per neighborhood because if you wanted to switch around your other families would age. You still can but it is a bit of a hassle because of the god awful UI displays like three "are you sure" messages every time you try to change families or the town and you would probably want to disable aging.

You will never get a sub minute neighborhood load. No mod or cleaner will get it to sane levels because the engine is just that shit. Not to mention putting up with fucked up microstutter and an ugly and broken renderer that for whatever reason has fucked up gamma levels on multiple graphics cards and system configurations I've had over the years. I've done all that, it's just a poorly optimized game. There's no saving sims 3 unless you want to play while being as much of a minimalist as possible.

Maybe I'm just more tolerant, but it runs well enough for me. Loads up in 3 minutes despite all the expansions and dlc and a shitload of mods and will stay running for as long as I want it to. It still has some issues sure, but nothing that really ruins the experience and if I need to I can always fall back on nraas to sort things out.

There are mods that try to fix it and the help a bit but even with all the neighborhood cleaners and NRaas optimization mods the load time is still atrocious unless you are only playing the base game. I know because I have all of them and I regularly clean out my caches and neighborhood folders. They don't fix the problems inherent to the engine and the load times are still stupid long. I'd recommend downloading either the modpack on hachichan or ATF rather than downloading nraas separately. They have everything you need to get started. After that you can hunt around for other mods, cosmetics, and sliders to personalize it to your taste.
