Afterwards you can also ask for a refund for whatever reason, but the refund getting approved is up to the dev/publisher of the game, not Steam

The 2-hour limit is just a general guideline. I've refunded a game at 17 hours simply because the game was broken as fuck. I dunno where that 17 hours came from too, must have been me alt-tabbing and trying to find a fix then getting distracted by rule34hentai.

My first and most absurd refund was when the system just came out.

Played Hotline Miami 2 for barely a hour and finished the game, then they accepted a refunds months later.

Fun Fact: You can refund a game that has left early access regardless of how many hours you put in. The only thing is you must not exceed the 2-3 hours of playtime AFTER the game has left Early Access. This worked with Killing Floor 2.
