Some guesses - look for old ass specific era Asian styles - Night Elves culturally kinda lean towards Korea lite- Blood Elves tend to have more of an Imperial Japan flare. The architecture of most Highborne stuff sort of goes all over the place, but the pearly buildings with colored rooftops is pretty Greeky in flavor.

Well, if I wanna be nitpicky, they wore red to symbolize the sacrifice of their kinfolk - Vengence and being pissed at life was kind of a side effect of a larger Elven condition - All elves are petty as hell. It's a race trait.
One of the old Pearl of Pandaria short stories sort of summed it best, the big difference between Blood and High Elves. Blood elves did anything for survival, and High elves were more worried about their dignity and purity. (Having rejected the idea of siphoning mana from a living thing, and later on demons, which was more safe than unstable mana crystals, which often resulted in a degeneration to wretched.(As described in the Blood of the Highborne novella))
And now with everything that's happened, High Elves are seen as high horse bastards who happily took part in the Purge of Dalaran (By gleefully killing non combatant Sunreavers), and Blood Elves are folks stuck with the Horde out of practicality and it being too late to really be able to back out and return to the Alliance, especially now that Void Elves are a thing, and their threat to the Sunwell being a thing.
Elves have so much Lore n Politics up the ass, it's great - but then you realize this sort of effort could have gone to a race like the Tauren, who get fucking nothing

The first thing you see when Jaina commands the fleet is Tandred coming up giving the commands to the "normal" boats. Jaina gets admiralty because she knows what the fuck's gonna happen magic-wise. And no, not "every mage" can remotely do what she does. Her powerlevel's been massive since Throne of Thunder.
The Sylvanas argument doesn't make much sense either when the entire point of the attack on Zandalar has very little to do with her - they explicitly want to stop the Horde from getting a powerful fleet. At best you can argue that Sylvanas was the trigger for the war to exist right now at all, which is obviously true but also goes for every single other character of the Alliance.

I can only imagine they are trying to get rid of all the "old" stuff in the story as fast as possible/tie up loose ends so they can move on to whatever comes after BFA. Theres only N'zoth left now in terms of villians so it's fucking beyond me what they are going to try and pull in the next expac if even the faction conflict is looking to be coming to an end.

I don't think there are many expacs left. Warcraft 3 Reforged is them testing the waters, Blizz wants to see if they can develop a classic WC game like in the good old days. If it gets good reception, then we'll see WoW slowly winding down in the last expac, and the story will finally move on to Warcraft 4.

No it doesn't look like she dies. According to the encounter dialogue at the end Jaina and Thalyssra magically seal or imprison her, binding her to her palace. Azshara might escape and appear again in the future. Same with Sargeras, because no one remains imprisoned forever.

N'zoth is the final boss this expansion. After BFA we will likely take the fight against the Void, but also against the Light. The Light has an agenda too, and will use force if necessary, for the "greater good". Time to visit new worlds I guess.

I think it makes sense. They know WoW is slowing down, they're even releasing Classic (which is not something you would expect from a game that's still pulling in big enough numbers). WC3R feels like DMC4SE - they need to check if anyone still cares about Warcraft as an RTS. If enough people do, it would be safe to move the series forward. If not, they would stick to WoW and pretend like nothing happened.

He death animation in the wowhead modelviewer has he lying on the ground in a defeat pose but still breathing (and it's not like it's bugged either, it's a completely unike animation) á la Garrosh. Very much doubt they are going to just let her swim off since she's directly tied to N'Zoth and he's the expac's bigbad besides possibly sylvanas. My money is on there being a cinematic after her defeat were she tries to escape but N'Zoth shows up claiming she's "served her purpose/part of the deal" (theres a reason that was the focus of her warbringers video) and sacrifices her to free himself or some shit.
