I fucking wish they consider that poll, Jojo won by a large amount. Please, i just want another great jojo fighter.

Shut the fuck up jojobrony

.Hack
IMOQ though. I tried the sequel and it had no soul

Ecco the dolphin

Konami in general.

Stalker

Ive played all of em.
While I love IMOQ the best, I accept and enjoyed //gu despite the fucking assholes producing a goddamned 4th game where the entire plot is 'Your MMO is shutting down and todays the final day'. No one should have to experience that loss.

Attached: 8iqdal16cgx7.jpg (640x480, 53K)

I thought Stalker 2 was happening?

EoH had some great references and Easter eggs, such as the torture dances and other dialogue between characters.
That doesn't make it a good game but at least they are trying and 4 years isn't much, not even close to dead.

I thought they were making a sequel

Since other user already mentioned Metal Gear, I'm gonna go with Gravity Rush which was brutally murdered by Sony's new SJW realistic graphix only policies.
Never forget it, Yea Forums, because this may happen to a series dear to you, too.

I still can't believe none of the jojo games that came out in this jojo boom have all been less than stellar.

Dead space. 1 & 2 was so goddamn good. Fuck EA

This board.

Alpha Protocol
>spy game
>RPG

>TURN UP THE RADIO
Absolutely kino. With better variety in viable builds and improved core gameplay it would be GOTYAY, but we'll never get a sequel or even a spiritual successor to iterate on the idea
Alternatively, True Crime/Sleeping Dogs

Here's your jojo game, bro.

Attached: Persona_5_cover_art.jpg (220x312, 23K)

I agree. Kite's saga had great character interactions and boss design was amazing. Combat felt tight with it's elemental wheel causing you to change out equips a lot and the animations were quick.

It's so sad that they went >tales combat

with Haseo's games. Everyone inadvertently sucked his dick the moment he met him. He was basically a brooding asshole mirroring mid season sasuke which clashed with all his friendly email replies. Fuck G.U the only thing it got is improved visuals

Unironically this :(
Also Mirror's Edge, though there's a very small chance of a third game.

Onimusha.
All the games were great and they just fucking abandoned it. I hope the remaster sold well so they could port the others and eventually make a new game.

Dead Space

Metal Arms Glitch in the System was kino af but it never got a sequel.

Thank god for mods.

Mario party for switch is good. Minigames are good and everyone has a fun time playing it.

Paper Mario though... What the fuck happened. The first two were nothing short of kino. TTYD deserves a follow-up. Those games were so creative.
Crash bandicoot used to be my go to answer but it's seemingly back so I'm gonna go with fallout. I dont care if it's still getting new games, they're garbage and it's just not the same

Soul Sacrifice

But user...

The saddest I couldn't tell you but...

Grandia
Sim City
Age of Empire
A Billion Sega first parties games...

command and conquer, especially generals

it wasn't about competetive balance. it was about fun. it's horrendously imbalanced but that is why it is so fun, you can turn the tide in a dire battle with a few special units in the right place and its always hilarious when your gimmick plan comes to fruition

Are there any mods that you would consider "essential"?

This, and Crimson Skies.

Haseo was cringe inducing, I just couldn't stand the dialogue. GU did have some improvements I'll admit.
The ingame PC Desktop with forums and email you could read before playing The World were kino.

Klonoa
Advance wars
Half Life
Prince of Persia
Silent Hill
Banjo Kazooie
Sly Cooper
Ape escape
Majority of Sega ips not named Sonic, I can just go on with this

user a new metal gear is probably in dev right now so don't say that.
They created a new website for it last year so wait and see I guess.

Sim City at least has Skylines

We'll see how bad Microsoft will fuck up Age of Empires at E3 this year though

gimme a hug man

Haven't played it in years but the reforged mod helps SotS2 become a playable game despite all the cringy new weapon types you can ignore.

The AI even stops running it's own empire into the ground because the features their programed to use actually work.

the fact we'll never get an SSX game like Tricky ever again makes me sad as shit bros

I'd rather it just stay dead at this point

I mean there is a website for STALKER 2 up, but the only thing is a date that says 2021. Over the next year and a half it could just turn to dust. Like less information and reliability than CP2077 as far as early announcements.

Why did they have to fuck up DoW? All they had to do was make the apocalypse mod in a new engine and increase the scale, or if they were lazy keep it CoH2 styled.

Meteos
Trauma Center (on handhelds; UtK2 is the best game in the series by a long shot and UtK3DS could easily be even better)
Advance Wars
F-Zero
Marvel vs Capcom

Stars wars, republic commando and battlefront.
It just hurts that one is completely dead and the other one is under EA hands

Perfect Dark

I like sci fi, I wish Star Fox would do well too

Survive was minor spin off. Acid 1 sold meh and acid 2 sold even more like shit and this didn't killed the serie
If it's a mgr2 or a game made by Murata (confirmed still at konami with ZOE1 director and rising writer/producer... Most of the old Kojipro seem to actually still be at the company. ) then I'm still hype. A remake could also be cool I guess.

Attached: 602.jpg (612x610, 43K)

Titanfall

I've been playing through to finish a game of SotS2 with the mod. Appearantly they fixed all the crash bugs and stopped developing the game back in 2013. And the mod improves the pace of the game substantially, as soon as you learn to navigate the mission system and built naval stations literally everywhere. I'll admit though, the only thing that stopped me from simply installing the first game was gods.

Attached: 767676.jpg (1280x720, 154K)

Looking at Fire Emblem, maybe it's for the best Advance Wars stays dead.

The game was garbage because Kojima had no involvement with it and it was a rushed cash-in on the engine Konami had put so much money into the development of. And even MGSV which was helmed by Kojima was unfinished overambitious shit. You're deluding yourself if you think there's ever going to be a MGS game like the first four again.

Kojima did a trailer and visited plat one time saying "OH THAT'S GUD I RIKE IT" and that's it. He wasn't even the producer, it was Korekado. But a lot of people says the contrary. (just like how most people think zoe is a Kojima game where he was just the producer and not the director of the 3 games.)

Attached: lhnmPuS_d.jpg (640x360, 10K)

MGR

Attached: 1536574139079.jpg (392x402, 34K)

I mean, if they wanted to make a good mgs they probably could.
Or they get bluepoint to remaster 4 with multiplayer, which in my book would still be fucking good

user Murata was literally the co director of 4 and was supposed to be Kojima remplacent back then before the death treats shit. Also Kojima had no involment with ghost babel and rising and yet those were good, and the acid games +po were alright.
Beside, did you even played Survive to say it's that bad?

There's really nothing like it around, I miss the goofy political messages that still managed to remain relevant despite their corniness

No I didn't play it I've only read reviews which confirmed my initial assumption it would be shit due to the fact it was obviously a cheap cash-in and had no involvement from Kojima

It's not that I don't want another good MGS I just highly doubt without his involvement and a very patient publisher we'll get one

>producer is now general MG producer
>director at plat still love the game and the serie, actually played Survive and like it. Is now working on an unknown project
>artist worked with plat but also worked with Konami recently, did the epic quality gears in survive.
>Konami seem to actually try some good moves recently
>there's also some Mgr weapons in Survive for some reasons, beside that it's only some V weapons or new weapons.
user at this point mgr2 is more likely to happen that with Kojima back then.

Attached: XfyL9hn_d.jpg (640x360, 10K)

How did goddamn BUBSY game even get funded in this day and age? I can't fucking stop SEETHING looking at its existance when all the series I loved are dead.

Are tactical singleplayer shooters like that completely dead now? I replayed BiA so many times as a kid when everyone else played CoD.
I'll never forgive BioWare for ME3 and I'll never forgive Todd for what he dit to Fallout. As for Battle for Middle-Earth, RTS as a genere in entirety is nearly dead.

This thread is gonna make me cry so hard, anons, stop aready.

SSX
Burnout
Viewtiful Joe

>Tfw Naughty Dog abandoned Jak and Daxter
>Tfw Sucker Punch abandoned Sly Cooper
Tfw Ratched and Clank, the only trilogy of the triangle I haven't played still gets new games regulary

user you do realize that most of the YouTuber like dunkey and Joe shat on the game on purpose and literally played only the first hours of the game. The most boring ones. Survive isn't even a survival game beside this part but a tower defense shooter.

My biggest regret in life is that I only finally got around to playing it and beating it a month ago after all these years I've been playing shooters

Attached: FEAR_Video_Game-1.jpg (1920x1080, 171K)

Still holds up pretty well don't it.

Shadow Hearts

Rayman isn't dead, it's just on hiatus, Ancel is busy with Wild and Beyond Good and Evil 2

The Replica soldiers were really fun to fight, they didn't feel like retarded, low HP jobbers that were just there to slow my progress to the end of the map. Each encounter and shootout was genuinely immersive and thrilling

Damn someone else played that game? I thought I was the only one
It was alright really, it may be literally impossible to make bad games on fox engine

Especially Perseus Mandate, the lighting really makes that expansion.

Condemned isn't quite dead. The guy behind the game left Monolith and took it with him. He's trying to get the development of a third game going.

Front Mission

>Are tactical singleplayer shooters like that completely dead now? I replayed BiA so many times as a kid when everyone else played CoD.
BiA:HH had already multiplayer and regen health, the issue is no one has interest in publishing something so niche in the age of heroes shooters

Played it... On release, I was curious of how much a shitshow it was going to be, but I actually had some fun. It's just a fun stand alone shit of V. Sure it's not a big game and it's far from perfect but it's not complete shit either. Even the story was passable even if a little rushed, the twist and the two endings were actually pretty good.
Also I love there's some hidden message from the devs on some random weapons.

Attached: 268b2c0.jpg (1920x1080, 175K)

>Tfw left alive had actually a cool story and characters + alright graphics and cutscenes.
>everything else is shit
I feel bad when I finished the game because there was some good shit ruined by all the other. The devs clearly weren't cut for this game.

It's a niche series, to be honest but even if it never got a sequel the online server with minor functionality that added a lot to the game and playtime value was killed off not even two years after release. I can't imagine servers for it cost that much to warrant them being shut down so early.
Unrelated to that, does everything have to sell over 4 million copies and cater to everyone and their mothers? The "let's appeal to everyone" menatlity in game development has really been bothering me more and more lately. I've been noticing the "checklist" thing more and more in games like levels in everything, collecting bullshit for crafting, etc. (looking at latest God of War especially which has no right to have cannon fodder enemies who can one hit a god if they're one level above him.)

I don't know why sometimes I miss the Phantasy Star Online from Game Cube... the game wasn't that good but I wished there was a good PSO game made recently.

Also, I haven't checked if there's one, so forgive me if there is

Burnout
Outrun
Midnight Club
Midtown Madness
Flatout

Really most big budget arcade racers that threw realism out the window. Arcade racers are still around but they're usually more grounded in reality than they used to be so they can reach a larger audience. It's a shame.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. ;_; Rune Factory before that.

>Meteos
How was the 360 game? Meteos has always been a kinda one off game to me even if it isn't actually, so I can't say I'm sad about it, plus it's not really the type of game that needs a sequel, but I certainly wouldn't object since I fucking love that game.
>Ninja Gaiden
Today on things that will never happen that I now want: Inti making a new 2D Ninja Gaiden, they proved they can do CV so why not. Plus people seem to really like 2D Ninja games right now for some reason.

Knowing that every Valve title will never get a sequel hurts me the most

Valve had some good games and now they’re just sitting on them. Really don’t know why Konami and Valve don’t sell their games off to companies who make games.

>How did goddamn BUBSY game even get funded in this day and age? I can't fucking stop SEETHING looking at its existance when all the series I loved are dead.

Bubsy has meme status do to a near decade old Jontron video and people want more Bubsy to ridicule
Unfortunately for them the comeback Bubsy game wasn't shit and wasn't good either so no one got what they wanted out of it

Boktai

ninja gaiden

At least there was two goemon characters in bomberman r.
Bloody roar is even deader.

Why why why did they base consumer interest on a bland arcade port. Hell they would have done much better to just release the Japanese only Vampire Collection in HD.

>How did goddamn BUBSY game even get funded in this day and age? I can't fucking stop SEETHING looking at its existance when all the series I loved are dead.

Literally meme magic, if Bubsy 3D didn't get the reputation it did the series would be a forgotten platforming relic of the 90's along with Jersey Devil, Pendemonium, Blasto, Wild 9 etc. Turns out, having a game so notoriously shit that every youtuber and game historian keeps bringing it up is a good way to stay relevant and get an audience these days.

Still doesn't make it any less infuriating that Bubsy gets new games while actually good franchises like Klonoa can't even get a short film.

Attached: 1553155466117.png (680x510, 363K)

Because SF4 was the last fighting game that Capcom worked on that had any sort of competent development or support.

Harvest Moon isn't dead but It's a walking zombie. Is SoS any good?

One pretty great PS2 game and one mediocre sequel do not keep a studio open, it turns out. RIP Pandemic. I just want another open world manshoots all about capturing/killing a wide list of targets and blowing things to hell.

I loved Gravity Rush, but I'm pretty happy that we got a sequel and proper remaster of the first game. The series is underrated but it still got closure.

Attached: GravityRush.jpg (459x600, 54K)

All they had to do was make an updated version of the first game for PS4, but instead they pulled a Paper Mario Sticker Star and lost track of what made it fun in the first place.

Silent Hill.

Less because I think Silent Hill as a series needs to continue and more that I lament the state of the psychological horror genre in general and the way that P.T. and the people working on it were treated. by Konami.

Sins of a Solar Empire

Silent hills failure was also due to Kojima, who was supposed to work on V and not this. Nothing of PT was done and contrary to what a lot of people says, Ito did nothing in term of concepts and nothing of the game was made beside PT. It's like Kojima just used pt to be closer to Norman and del Toro knowing it would never happen. (he had to know he was soon going to go. Pt was made not even a year before his departure.)

Kinda funny the team that made PT(and most of the old Kojipro in general) stayed at Konami for the most.
